So.. when is everyone coming back? ☹

For first time i can remember i dont have plans to come back. Feb 15th is last day, just not having fun anymore. I wish best for those who remain, fight those bosses in my absence.

I might come back if Zandalari release in February or early March (when my sub is up), so I can level and get the Zandalari Heritage Armor. I might do the Crucible of Storms a couple times, but until 8.2 I’m done.

I just hope they know what actually works and what doesn’t work given all the evidence from 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 on the subjects of:

  • World Quests
  • Warfronts
  • M+
  • Class Design
  • Professions

It seems to me most of the newer design choices are either unwanted by the community or lacking in execution.

I think if they made a patch specifically focused on class design/balance vs. going all in on new content it would draw some people back. shrug

Well a truck tore my interweb cables down two days ago so probBbly as soon as they restring it. Those mounts aren’t going to farm themselves.

yes, the professions are very lackluster and not worth it.

I tend to agree. Probably with some sort of loot box system to replace paragon chests to keep us coming back for more.

I plan on coming back whenever flight is added or vulpera AR. The experience from the ground was ok at first but 5 times over… I am sick of aggroing everything and just want to get my alts to 120. The ONLY exception would be to level up a vulpera from scratch, I would totally go all in on that!

For me, it’s when they remove titanforging… and I mean completely remove it.

I thought it was just a legion specific flavor thing and it did make a bit of sense in that regard, but it’s not good for the game overall. I don’t want one piece of gear to have a chance to be 30 different versions of itself with ilvl differences, sockets, tertiary stats, etc. It’s ruining personal progression for me.

And since they said removing titanforging is “not likely” I unsubbed. The content in the game is mostly fine. The structure around how progression and rewards in that content work is not at all fine.

But, of course, I will most likely be giving Blizzard money again for classic in the hopes that it eventually makes its way to a Burning Crusade version. Either way, Classic will be more enticing for me to log into every day even though it has plenty of its own problems.

I seriously don’t think that will ever happen. Ion seems to love titanforging.

i’m actually on my way out again, i usually get the expac , play for a while and then dip , plus all my twitchers left, guilds are kinda flakey , and there are a ton of ’ we sell raid/mythic runs’ on the finder , not many people actually just doing it anymore, which is a byproduct of the state of things in the game

this expac although pretty and well written , just got boring fast and manythings are just really lackluster

i ended up over at destiny 2 just because i love FPS and it has a mmo flavor to it. i mean , it was free to us anyway.

but yeah, its not that BfA is ‘bad’ , its just boring and broken

Disagree, that certainly qualifies as “bad.”

My guild was empty but everyone came online in the evening

Depends on how future patches look but as of right now probably 9.0 bfa so far has just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I’m almost always the only one I see online in my guild unless it’s raid night. Outside of that, it’s a ghost town.

Likewise! well… we don’t really do raids, but for rp the guild does lots of events per week, and they were usually quite active… now though i’m usually the only one I see online :frowning:

Good I hope so lol… They’re all gone… I’m the only one left of 5-6 of my arena goon squad.

Not a fan of healing randos but also not a fan of trying to get a team as dps lol…

I bet 8.2 is when a lot will come back and hopefully stay. It’s looking like a great patch, so cross your fingers.

I’ve been playing a lot of other games and leveling alts in WoW very slowly so I’d say I’m “gone” for the most part and will only resume serious progression next expansion most likely… probably will max every class get bored and check back in 2 years that’s usually my pattern over the years (vanilla-wrath, legion-2years-now)
