So what killed the hype?

Definitely disagree. As each phase brings something important to the game. Also the game doesn’t end with Phase 6 it still is only beginning. There are endless things to do.

We don’t need server resets, I actually think Classic is very casual friendly and you can play at “YOUR” own pace with friends. Also with other players that are in the same spot.

Maybe your first character that you joined late too will do raids with someone’s alt. Sorry but also guilds are much stronger and friends are much stronger in old WoW. You log on to play with them. It isn’t about racing to some end game content. The content isn’t the main focus in a great game. The game is just great and you can enjoy any facet of it because everything is important.

So I think it is unimportant when someone starts to play Classic. It doesn’t matter if it is on 8-27-19 or if they make a character for the first time in 10-15-21. The game will have a great lifespan because everything matters and it is a great game. It was a great game 15 years ago, It is a great game now and will be a great game 15 years from now.

It’s just a great game and people want to play and be a part of a great game.

Sounds like someone needs to do some homework and is newer to the game.

The game has always been elitist. Just read about some of the behaviours by players that blizzard hired.

Ever heard of the term “green machine” - it might make a come back.

Sorry classic will not be this fantasy land like Cheers where everybody knows your name and raid groups are open/welcoming to players that are learning.

Oh boy if this is what the twitch population thinks classic is going to be like, its going to fall flatter than I previously thought.

Update! Them lumping together all the EU servers so we’ll have World War 3 in trade chat by day 1.

On top of everything else I feel like I’m running out of reasons to care at this point.

I don’t know. World War Three might be a pleasant change from the usual spam of people begging for gold, [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker], and tweens comparing the fictional size of their ahem equipment.

No, it wouldn’t. I would literally take the toxic unmoderated pserver world chats over this, and that’s the prime reason I wanted official servers in the first place.

Did somebody say freshhhhhhhh

Just give me a fresh bridge to jump off rn.

thats nice

It’s kind of funny that people spent years talking about how they would pay anything to get Classic back, now it’s"I’m not paying a sub to test servers for Classic"

I don’t like BfA, therefore no-one likes BfA.

The massive numbers of people playing BfA are an illusion.

The massive number of people quit a long time ago. Although BFA never held any decent numbers to begin with. It’s a pretty empty game and no one is watching. It’s dead.

The record setting sales of BfA were a lie?

I’m not seeing tons of people everywhere I go when I’m playing BfA every day?

I mean if you’re not into stress tests I can understand it. The people who are now like “I’m not paying for Blizzard’s Classic when I could just play a guesswork version free” are the ones I laugh at.

??? I only queue bgs on there. Love my ambush / backstab rogue!

Ok, fine. It was my fault ok. I forgot to put my pet on passive, Fluffy pulled half the dungeon and got everyone kill everyone but me, including poor Hype who tried to heal but couldn’t keep up. I only made it because I have FD.

Basically,
Layering.

Hmm the forums suggested this forum post for me…

Yup the hype suuuuuuure is dead today!
