So, we know Magni is a Warrior, Moira is a Priest, Brann is a Hunter… does Dagran have a class other than just being a nerd? He hasn’t shown any spellcasting abilities. In the Taelloch questlines he’s just punching things. C’mon, Bronzebeards! Give the kid a hammer or a staff or something.

While not the first official member of the class. He’s a Scholar, wears Engineer gear, is a nerd, explorer, etc…

Something around Warrior Class in training?
He did mention to use stone skin from the OG Mountain King or Mountain Thane as its called in WoW so he was not crush in the Dalaran crash ruble, taught by Magni his grandad? 
I got the impression he was a mage based on dark iron rulers like Sorcerer-Thane Thaurissan and Modgud. He uses some spells to unlock doors and throws around fire balls.

That’s also a Dwarven Racial skill. He might look a bit more Dark Iron than Bronzebeard, but seems he’s got at least one bit of the Bronzebeard racial kit.

Oh yeah I forgot about that… hmmm some type of Shaman then? I also notice Moria using fireballs too even thought she was known as a Priest.
I think what Biggahhchud said, most NPC Leaders or Heroes don’t fit any specific class.
Oh WOW I forgotten completely about that racial, thanks for the reminder! So many racials have change so much I thought it was remove or change.

Warcraft wiki lists him as a fire mage too. Presumably because of his ingame toolkit.
I think it’s safe to assume he’s a mage, that is the nerd class afterall. He’s definitely not a shaman haha.

The boy is clearly being propped up as a tinker with Blythe breathing down his neck 24/7.
I’m pretty sure he uses fire mage spells when fighting nerubians in the opening Isle of Dorn quests, among Dalaran’s ruins?
