So what class is Dagran anyway?

He casts some magic in the Moira short story, so he’s at least mage-adjacent. I assumed that his affinity for fire magic is a nod to his father’s abilities and the Dark Iron ties to Ragnaros. He’s extremely scholarly and able to pick up skills very quickly, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being a mix of different classes.

Dual class. He’s a Professor/Interior Decorator.

He seems like a scholar/tinker. He literally uses his knowledge and tools, which are also magically enchanted, to help us out with stuff. Code breaking is more is thing than combat. He has the whole oceans 11 feel to him.

Scholar class?

Like just uses scraps of lore and basic spells to do things

Yeah, think Indiana Jones. But he is more geeky and also a tinker type person. He is a good vault cracker.

Combat he isn’t well versed in but in knowledge, history and technology, he is extremely helpful.

Brann Bronzebeard has that role. Dragon lacks the man of action part.

Who are you calling a nerd?

FIREBALL!

“My passions burn… in more ways than one.”

-Last words heard by a group of Stonewatch orcs.

He is definitely a Tinker/Machinist/Artificer/WhateverBlizzardNamestheClass that will be introduced as a class during the World Soul Saga.

I mean, if the tinker class means you’re one of the people that has figured out other world/ancient/titan tech and can reverse the polarity of the neutron flow in an inverse tachyon burst to something something it’d make sense in game with all we’ve been given so far.
