But writing such an abrupt departure from the character of the story doesn’t make much sense. It’s like having a Garrosh character suddenly have a quest to buy ice creme for orphans. Your character who is trying to help a race of people deal with the destruction caused by a mad dragon suddenly deciding to help enslave others.
Just wait until you find out they even have MURDER quests!
