Tbh I think someone accidentally hit a switch they shouldn’t have. Stuff was disabled already last night before it was even midnight.
I was able to use a catalyst charge. Converted the hero shoulders I got in the vault.
The lolz is that we are still a week away from season 2 and they have removed our valorstones and ability to upgrade season 1 gear yet we are still in season 1 and are getting ….valorstones for season 2 and we’re still in season 1. I know that must be hard for you, as a blizzard shill to understand, but it’s okay.

It would nice like we get text on server resets to also get a few notices in game to spend our currency…you know cause some of us don’t auto update bnet to see the messages.

season timings are genuinely so stupid.
If you’re not a world quest enjoyer it almost feels like there’s… And then it all opens at once so I can’t even get a bit of gear before raid or w/e. (Not a huge deal it’s just normal) but ugh.
It was annoying season one idk why they did this mess again.

I was uncertain if I was able to actually complete 10s on my Druid my stopping point has always been 9s. I met a couple of really nice friends recently and we attempted a few of them and actually completed them and timed them and I was excited, yes it was late into the season, I understand that, but I was still excited nonetheless. Not knowing ( because it wasn’t announced) that we wouldn’t be able to upgrade anything this week I was really stoked to open my vault thinking “hey I’ll at least have one week where I got a mythic track item, regardless if it’s at the end”. As you can imagine when I realized I couldn’t upgrade it today I was disappointed.

Because we have 2 Great Vaults until Season 2 starts. The Great Vault on March 4th obviously wouldn’t be able to be upgraded, but the one for this week should be. Why spend crests before your last Great Vault reward?
I had a few alts ready to go. I was going to take my Great Vault reward, upgrade that to 6/6 Mythic, then any Heroic pieces I still had I would upgrade those past 619. It’s not rocket science.

The Undermine zone is open, right? I’m going to learn the new area inside out, do quests there, and do as much story as I can.
Maybe reacquaint myself with the layout of the new M+ dungeons as well.
And, of course, all new upcoming gear will need new enchants and such - may as well start working on mats for those.
They have done this with S4 items in DF as well.
I had tons of currency saved up for my alts and from one day to another, I had gear that could no longer be upgraded. Hours and hours, just gone poof in a second…
Blizzard is trying to force us into staying online 24/7 to upgrade everything to it´s maximum all the time, so that we never take a break from this game. It suxx if you play alts and focus on a main first and want to keep your alts in their respective content a while longer.
It´s cheap tactics of a company that seems to have lost it´s connection to the audience it develops the game for.

Guess we can save up the new S2 valorstones for next week.
S2 Adventurer gear starts at like 610 or something and probably won’t need crest to upgrade. Fully upgrade they probably reach S1 Mythic gear.
Hello! We’d like to acknowledge the unusual situation here, where Season 1 gear upgrades are no longer available.
You’ll find that world content in in the new zone gives Season 2 gear, which can be upgraded. There’s some awkwardness to the one week transition period, but as of the patch going live, we need the world to be in a “Season 2” state in terms of currencies so that the Undermine zone content can function as expected. At the same time, we’re keeping Season 1 instanced content active just to make sure players have a few more days to finish some of the achievements that are still available.
We don’t currently have a way, technically, to keep Season 1 gear upgradeable after moving into a Season 2 currency ecosystem, which we have now done.
We understand that this can be confusing and frustrating, and we’ll continue to discuss further improvements to season transitions in the future.

Its silly we can’t upgrade S1 gear while we technically still in S1. And why doesn’t The Catalyst have unlimited charges for transmog collecting?
So again I ask, why doesn’t The Catalyst have unlimited charges for S1 gear?

Just own up to it, the devs screwed up, deleting crests and valorstones is such a ??? decision it’s insane.
