I wish there wouldn’t have been a debuff/buff limit, would have made it more fun for locks, resto druid, etc.

Dont complain about like 100-50 dps. Ret barely pulls ahead due to bad warriors bringing down the overall dps ranking of fury.

Yeah, the WoW dev team doesn’t care about game2. They care about game1… aka the game they are making. If you are butt hurt about other classes doing more damage then you instead of focusing on being the best warrior you can be or killing H Arthas… that is on you.

Warriors at the start of wrath complained they were the worst class, now they’re complaining that they’re not overpowered.

I think it’s more of a complaint that they are not 100% no brainer prio on shadowmourne anymore due to the ret buffs.

Warriors, performance wise are neck and neck with ret.

Which is funny because, with the Shadowmourne changes anyone who wants it is probably going to eventually get it regardless of priority…

Warriors at the start of wrath complained they were the worst class with horrible utility and bad damage but then were promised they would scale and instead got nerfed. now they’re complaining that they’re not even top 5 and need a legendary to even be top 10.

Ret needs the legendary too.

And a very specific trinket.

And Fury are top 5. They literally are #5 and go up to #4 when RS comes out.

5% titan’s grip penalty wouldn’t need any testing and would be an equitable change considering the insane feral buff

turns out warriors also need gear that isn’t just weapons, but somehow we didn’t go from most represented class with tons of raid utility and buffs to keep us out of the gutter just to skyrocket to 3rd dps :slight_smile:

if you mean the iccprojections spreadsheet, being within 50dps of affliction of all things on a 180s fight you’re delusional
let alone the 120s fight projections
or the 300s fight projections

So you’re saying the Sims are inaccurate? Doesn’t that literally deflate your entire argument? What if Ret simply isn’t better than Fury because the sims weren’t accurate?

Ret is simming around 200 dps higher than warriors, when both are in complete bis gear. 200 dps difference for people doing 16000+ dps is nothing.

The only 2 classes beating warriors and ret are Fire Mages and Ferals, and sometimes spriests.

Exactly, he’s mad over a 1-2% dps difference.

At that tiny difference it’s entirely player skill.

And let’s not forget that this isn’t even final. This is the first PTR build. Blizzard still has plenty of time to nerf Ret into the ground because Warriors are mad.

Putting words in my mouth, we all know how aff is. inb4 I’m saying that the patchwerk-style sim is wrong, and not that they’re very close and do not play on equal fields.

I’ll be sure to remind myself of this when I get hands/30min buffs of all kinds/seals/Divine Shield/Not have to swap stances for defensives/etc. etc.
Or that you know, everyone knew ret was supposed to be a scaling class, but instead not only didn’t have to wait but got overtuned.

I really hope they don’t. In fact, just bring back fiery warrior, or fix the tuning on the buffs.

Warriors and Rets are hybrids. They are considered equals for wotlk balancing.

They do not, and should not go and take every single little thing a class can do into consideration or the work will never end.

And ret did have to wait. We got buffed earlier, but the buff simply put us up to the floor. It did not make us overpowered, just competitive with other dps hybrids, like warriors.

I didn’t put words in your mouth. You are saying that there’s no way Fury is close to Affliction even though that’s exactly what the sims say. Which means you’re saying the sims are wrong. And if the sims are wrong your logic behind Ret being overtuned is wrong to begin with.

You cannot both deny Warriors are top 5 dps while also saying Ret (and Feral) were overtuned based on sims.
