definetly not number one. they wernt in the first place, considering the kind of dps hunters are pumping rn. and trust me, the mastery nerf was a huge hit. they arent bad now, but nowhere close.

Oh sweet summer child, you have yet to see the mythic streams. Unholy DKs there, don’t have their legendaries and they are #1 or close to #2.

i shoud have known better than to expect even a modicum of reasonability on the forums. did not one of you even stop to consider that mythic dps charts =/= simulated dps? or even really how good or bad the spec is?
but i guess eating, sleeping, and breathing everything dk for years has just turned me into a “feelycrafter”.
Being number 1 isn’t an issue /sigh. it’s the ratio of how far anyone is ahead or behind. When you make a list, someones gottta be first and someones gotta be last. Maybe we should stop making stupid lists. Maybe another way that doesn’t make it so black and white and make people feel like they are worthless, if they are not on the top tier.

Unholy was far and away the best DPS spec in the game by a very large margin until today, got roughly a 7-8% damage nerf at very high levels of Mastery, is still one of the best MDPS specs in the game at the moment, and is being outright stacked by the top guilds during the World First race because they offer enormous amounts of DPS in all situations alongside their excellent utility.
The spec was not overnerfed whatsoever, and anyone who believes it has been overnerfed has absolutely no idea what he or she is talking about and should probably stay silent lest they make themselves seem like blatant idiots in front of many, many people.

You can also play Arcane. The top DPS ranking currently on the Hunstman happens to be Arcane.
You realize that all of Unholy DPS is raw burst, right? Our Mastery nerf is hitting us HUGELY. Losing 20% effectiveness of it–that’s massive. It’s basically a revert to before we had pets included in our Mastery, lol. Without our cooldowns, our DPS is practically on par with a Warrior. Thankfully, a UH-DK’s cooldowns are in a very nice spot. But without them, the dps is straight a*.
