So twinks get clustered with reg players?

No they don’t. Higher ilvl 120s deal less damage to a fresh 120, and fresh 120s deal more damage to higher ilvls.

My pride and joy was a level 19 Tauren Hunter, I invested so much time/gold into that guy and it “paid off” on the battlefield mwahahaha

My guy was an absolute beast rockin’ like 3.1k health, which was just unheard of at the time (most twinks only had like 1.8k-2.3k). He even had a lvl 70 enchant or two, which due to the wonky scaling, gave me a huge advantage over other players. Due to my OP stats, I could even hold my own against like lvl 38-42 trash mobs.

If I was fighting unskilled casuals or randoms, I could easily do 1-v-3 or 1-v-4, it was insane!! As far as other 19 twinks, I could usually handle 2 if I was on my A game, in a 1-v-1 versus twink I would almost always win due to Hunter kiting being OP and of course my enormous healthpool.

I still remember being a lowly level 19 in Stranglethorn Vale when trying to get the “Arena Grand Master” (best-in-slot twink trinket at the time), I also spent a lot of time there for the “fishing tournament” (for the OP twink fishing hat). I remember it like it was yesterday, it was a different time back then, rip

…I have twinked quite a few different toons, on this account I have a twinked hunter, warrior, mage and druid, all are pretty fun…the BM hunter is the most fun, very easy to beat 2 or 3 toons at once…

I mean low level PVP has always been garbage. Last time i leveled a character was in Legion and basically everyone before level 60 was a rogue or hunter and the whole BG was just those classes one shotting each other. Wasn’t fun at all.

LOLOL…have you ever tried to kill an arcane twink at 29?..I didn’t think so, you have no clue what you’re talking about…

And people thought bgs were so perfect back then

65k hp scrubs that level in island expeditions get put on the same team as geared 120s and play against them. They have less than half the hp of geared 120s and they melt very fast against them. This isn’t fair, I think gearing at 120 is OP and they should be put in a separate queue. That way it will be fair and island expedition levelers can continue to be lazy and never have to gear their characters. I’m sure all you levelers that just want to get to your precious endgame where you do spend time on gearing your 120s won’t mind that by the logic I am seeing here.

Mick I dont want rid of twinks. You can twink all you want, but you can be in your own xp off queue. No problem with twinks.

Completely different. How would you know anyway if you dont play end game? You can twink all you want, but you can be in your own queue like it was in the past. No complaints right? You can still twink.

Now anyone with more health than you is a twink.

That rogue has more health than me and killed me in stun lock as I pressed none of my defensive cd or trinket. Twink!

Nah we know who the twinks are on here. They have to defend it, because how else will they kill the lowbies. Don’t fear the reaper.

It is exactly the same and I think I should be able to pvp and not put any effort into gearing my 120 so the geared players belong in a separate queue. Who knows I may actually play my 120 a little more.

Oh wait this is an MMO not checkers, we don’t all get the same stats maybe you should do what people do in MMO’s, do quests and dungeons and farm rare weapons and gear it was put in the game for a reason. Stop expecting a free ride to 120. The game starts at level 1, not 120, you don’t get a separate set of rules to coddle you until then.

Oh I see the enchants 120’s put on are not for 120’s? What you worried about no one is saying you can’t twink right? Just twink against similar “skilled” players. It will be done.

There’s a problem with this logic - people who’re playing the game as intended - ie, actually leveling, likely are doing quests, dungeons and farming rare weapons and things, but they’ll inevitably level out of the bracket. They’re not literally halting their progress to hunt down the best of the best for the purpose of excelling in that one bracket.

Yes, I know once upon a time BGs didn’t give XP at all, but the fact of the matter is that now they do, and there’s going to be people leveling through them. Even speaking as someone who enchants the bollocks out of their alt characters, people stopping at x9 to make their character absolutely ludicrous always seemed a bit silly.

It was never intended for players to level as fast as they do now. That is a result of lots of complaining, so over the years xp has been added to places like bgs, increased in pve, bonuses given from heirlooms and such.
XP off was added by Blizzard, so obviously it was intended for people to use it and enjoy the lower level game. They let you guys power level if you want, but that doesn’t mean you get to be strong as people that take their time to develop characters better.

What is silly is people who are leveling up expecting to be competitive in PVP without doing any effort to be PvP viable. No you shouldnt be on par with any person who has devoted time and effort finding the best gear for their specialization. If you want to pvp then gear your char for pvp and enjoy it. If you want to level then put on those heirlooms and get to leveling, but dont complain about PvP when all you want to do is level up. No you shouldnt be able to massacre players in bgs and level up all the way to 120 without doing anything to develop a char for pvp.

To be honest, the degree of domination twinks bring to the table shouldn’t even be a thing. It’s too on sided vs under geared players and still not viable vs over tuned classes/specs that twink. It’s a formula for disaster and grief no matter how you look at it. Some on is getting the rotten end of the deal.
