I only bought it because my partner was gonna play It. And now we don’t even play It. I knew I didn’t like the series.

i had like 6 friends buy it, so I did. Now I dont play at all and theyre like why, but im level 78 with pretty much my BIS. its just… waiting for the perfect dice roll on a yellow isnt my idea of progression. im done with it. dont care about the season.
Guess they’re coming back to WoW.

I just don’t find beating the same game on a higher difficulty that much fun. I do it in single player game sometimes but…
There’s just not a good match making system… The mogs are okay at best. The game play is okay. I can’t really complain about that too much.

I’m still going to use my “free” battlepass in S1…but they definitely did a lot of damage to their own game with the patch.

Not a few things…they nerfed a lot of things and intentionally made the end game harder. Instead of buffing the underpowered skills, they destroyed the popular builds and then nerfed all of the secondary stats that made the game work.

Yeah, I’m sure that was what they thought would happen in their head. Instead, they drove away their player base and are scrambling to save face.
I’m guessing they are going to beg everyone to stick around in their unplanned Campfire Chat on Friday.
Do we know that for real though? I haven’t heard anything about numbers going down but to be fair. I have not gone to the forum once.
Damn you guys got far. I made it to like level 40, got bored and quit. I can’t believe “I had more fun and played longer in D3 than I did D4” is a sentence I would say.

This was pretty much my experience, too. I just…couldn’t be bothered to care anymore after reaching lvl 40-ish. I felt like I was just running in place for 40 levels straight. In a game series that prides itself on the power fantasy, they’ve done very little to actually make me feel it.
There really isn’t anyway to know for sure…even Blizz won’t know until the season starts tomorrow. But social media/forum reaction has been overwhelmingly negative since the patch dropped.
Like I said, they had to throw together a campfire chat to explain themselves.
Gamers are notorious for being reactionary but not necessarily known for following through. I guess time will tell.
It just wasn’t fun. Bosses were just spitting out health potions, and for the most part my Necromancer had a build that really only used 2 MAYBE 3 skills. At no point did I ever feel in danger.
I’m sure people will say oh but you need to get to like W3 or w/e. Nah.
