So Thrall does nothing... again

Despite being in the cinematic for TWW, and being on the loading page of TWW, it is Anduin and Alleria who takes the spotlight for most of the xpac.

Honestly, they should’ve just killed off Thrall in Legion. Why bother keep him around if they never do anything with him? Are they that afraid the Green Jesus haters coming back?

I’m just tired of Alliance centric characters having the spotlight: Brann, Magni, Moira, Anduin… They do nothing for me. And I have Anduin fatigue, if I’m being honest.

I miss the dual approach in the storytelling we used to get. Why am I doing Delves with Brann? I’d much rather do it with Tae’shara. Where are the magisters and orcish warlocks when it comes to ethereals, the void and Karesh?

Forsaken should have more involvement with the Nerubians.

The storytelling is asymmetric and by extension unengaging.

When I finished and saw Thrall at the end I legit had a double take because I had forgotten that he was even part of the expansion. I wish there was more of a presence of major Horde NPCs in the main quest line. Guess they figured the Goblins would make up for it.

This is what happens when you listen to the people who hate factions.

And, I’m tired of the “feelings” quests for the main storyline, where you have to ask people about their feelings or some poop like that. But, “that’s” the kind of people working at blizzard these days.

You just want to kill off all the Horde leaders huh?

I would’ve killed Thrall ages ago. He should’ve joined Alliance expansions ago.

Thrall might be a part of the next patch, I’d assume. With the haranir and stuff.

Why does Thrall need to be in a goblin centric story?

He was in the campaign for TWW, maybe he’ll also be in Rootlands or whatever 11.2 will be. But he’s got no real connection to Undermine.

I mean, he was the one that re-appointed Gallywix to lead the Bilgewater Cartel after the Goblin player beat him up.

He played a minor role. Either off-screen or mentoring a dwarf. When someone is part of the loading screen or even in a cinematic, that usually means they’re gonna play a big role or have some impact. But he does neither. Meanwhile, Alleria and Anduin are part of multiple ingame cinamatics and the final one of the launch patch.

Exactly. He could take this chance to correct one of his many mistakes, perhaps kill him in a brutal way.

I’m kind of hyped for Quel’Thalas in Midnight. Hopefully we get more of a Horde-centric story there, and I say that as somebody who plays Alliance exclusively ducks for cover. I doubt we ever get to the chest thumping testosterone heights of Warlords, but Horde has some cool races besides that.

He was involved in 11.0 and we still have all of 11.2 to do.

Undermine didn’t need Thrall to randomly be a part of the story.

I fear it will be more blood elves than the other Horde races though.

Did you not read this part?

It’d be nice but I’m not too optimistic given how things have gone lately. At this point, I wouldn’t be too surprised if Lor’themar waves at us during the intro then we follow around the living Windrunners for the rest of the expansion.

You aren’t. The season 2 companion is somebody else, remember?

“Each new season delivers a fresh companion with a customizable Talent Tree to aid your journey, starting with Brann Bronzebeard.”

Just another Blizzard lie.

Well sadly not many horde characters have much to do with events in TWW.

Im expecting alot of horde characters in midnight. Placing characters in places that make zero sense for them to be in is weird.

Like all the focus on Alleria & Anduin in an underground-themed expansion? I agree.

Yet they’re there, anyway. Because Alliance.

What are you even talking about??
