You’re right. But it helps me because I have cognitive issues and have a bit of difficulty focusing when there’s so much going on in a fight.
It’s a useful tool.

I only play this encounter on ranged DPS characters.
Grab one of the potions, stay out of range of the aura and sprays, and stand in one of the blobs that potion makes you immune to. (USE the potion first of course)
I have not seen it happen yet where Frye will drop both color blobs on the same spot.
