So the Alliance Garrison

Yeah it kind of weirds me out that Varian is still chilling in your garrison though

Tauren druids sometimes chill within that hollow tree in Lunarfall. Even they seem to agree that the Alliance garrison’s better.

Yep, I played Alliance before Legion. Dont miss anything except for this Garrison. What a downer is the straw huts on Horde.

It is, Grumbles. My kids laugh at me because I like to have toys and pets and macros all out; they are more minimalist!

That many buttons would make my OCD go absolutely nuts lol.

I have a LOT of characters, and every single one of them has everything in the same spot on my action bars, so while it might look chaotic to others, it’s very organised chaos to me. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

As a Horde player who once was an Alliance. This is correct. The music is better and the look is better. Hordes does look great but yeah it’s cramped up into that mountain. It’s also very far from other places.

As someone who’s played both, yes, the alliance garrison is just so much nicer. The horde garrison looks like poop.

I really wish they would have done as promised with the garrisons. It would be nice if you could choose your aesthetic. I’d much rather have Blood Elf themed garrisons.

Shame they discontinued the garrison feature. I really liked the Alliance upgraded garrison and the feel of it. Wished they’d expand on it instead of taking that tech into stuff like Covenants or other places.

I get they made mistakes with the Garrisons but it was a neat idea and I still go back from time to time to just mess about there.

Alliance side definitely has the better one IMO.

Imagine if we could hang art in the buildings and had a broader music selection for the stereophone? But I do still love my garrison, especially with stuff like the seer and the ghosts and the Halloween decorations, it’s a shame we don’t have a Headless Horseman to run through it though  :jack_o_lantern: :fire:. Also maybe some possessed jack o’ lanterns for the garden?

iirc, Dev convo from back in the day, Frostfire Ridge wasn’t initially going to be snow-covered. But everyone kept calling the light ground cover ‘snow’, so the devs gave in and made it snow.

Honestly, Chïntzy, I’d like to see more Goblin stuff in there, too. I’m not sure why they’ve chosen to make Goblin areas look like junk heaps. I like the Goblin aesthetic, and they could make a charming Goblin city, as well.

But I agree that Silvermoon needs a facelift, flight, and some utility so it can be a hub. Now that the Nightborne are a part of the family, surely the people who built Suramar can get with the people who built Silvermoon and make some decent accommodations for Horde players.

There’s a lot they could do with all the races we have. I would love to see spikes be put to rest for a while.

It’s Alliance… so it’s just better, yes.

My alliance garrison looks nothing like OP’s. What neighborhood is he in?!

Have you upgraded yours to level 3? Other than buildings being different depending on what you chose that’s what it looks like. It’s really nice, I wish they had done something with them so they were still current in some way.

I believe my is level 3, its got everything along with full ship port, blackmarket monk lady, etc. Honestly not sure if I ever looked at from the front cuz i usually jump on a flying mount and take off over the walls. I’ll check soon to see

Mine is level 3 and it sort of looks like OP other than I chose different buildings for mine. I have a mage tower instead of a dwarven bunker.

I like Horde’s better and think it looks better.

In the Horde Garrison Town Hall we have three ‘Benches’ and a ‘Doodad_6oc_orcclans_bench002’.

Not much can beat THAT!
