send trystian an in game mail and i’ll check it tomorrow. make an allied race and send it to him so you don’t have to farm 30c. lol
True - but with lawful good characters, you can always predict what they will choose - except in situations where both options are equally good or equally bad. Think of it this way - Superman would be considered lawful good. To me, I find him to be boring when compared to more Chaotic good characters such as Batman. Now, some people like Superman and I have nothing against that. But I mean, it kind of handicaps you to a point. Whenever there is a choice, the lawful good character will usually pick the one that would be considered the “good choice”, unless of course he chooses to break alignment. If that character breaks alignment enough times, he/she is no longer really a lawful good character.
Usually is the reason we consider him a person and not a character. Superman obviously violates all kinds of minor laws (speed limits, for instance).
OVERALL, he is classified as lawful good.
And don’t forget, these classifications are usually applied AFTER a character is made to generalize them, not used as a pattern for creation.
my paladins are lawful good but they’ve done questing the same as every other toon and they’re not above doing something not that great to get some exp and gold. but overall in rp terms and important ways they’re lawful good. you know?
He is indeed a character and not a person - because most people are not lawful good - it is actually rare. Most people are probably neutral good/chaotic good. So just in general, I am not sure why Blizzard choose to have characters like Anduin act lawful good. It just comes off as being so unrealistic since we hardly ever see that in real life.
I wish they had went with the morrally grey path and just made the alliance make some darker decisions. Basically pushing them to the chaotic good route.
Theramore was a nuetral city of refugees ruled by the one person on azeroth who helped the horde most. Jaina helped thrall and baine multiple times through trade agreements in theramore. Jaina saved groms butt at theramore. Jaina helped thrall and friends not get killed by her father. The horde owe jaina thier very existence.
The actual military base was attacked before theramore.
The only reason a large military force was even at theramore was in response to gary’s bsc and baine warning jaina of the in coming attack. Which is exactly what gary wanted. He wanted forces to gather to nuke them with thr manabomb.
A bomb which was made by goblins and sunreavers who stole the focusing iris. Stealing the itrs and weaponizing it was a betrayel on jaina and was the sunreavers breaking thier nuetrality with the kirin tor. The iris was suppose to be sealed away and never used for war.
It was because the belfs idiocy and betrayel that theramore was nuked and the purge of dalaran even happened.
If I wrote Anduin, I’d start with him being naive and innocent, but he changed after the death of his father, who was betrayed by the coward Sylvanas.
She then murdered innocents at Teldrassil. Genn is his right hand man, actually trying to hold him back so he doesn’t do something irrational and stupid, bringing out a more honorable side of Genn.
Yea, that would have been a great angle for him. With that you could have made him be kind of reckless and suicidal during some of his actions with wanting to get revenge. Maybe he would have been leading the charge at Lordaeron.
Another option would have been if he ended up getting angry at Tyrande for going against his wishes and decided to punish the night elves in some way - basically giving Anduin a bit of a God complex/Rule with an iron fist
A third option is to have the situation with his father dying break him so he kind of takes a back seat while Genn and Tyrande and others lead the fight. This results in bickering due to the power vacum and Anduin’s refusal to assert leadership.
There are so many things that could have been done… Oh well, maybe on day in Alternate universe Azeroth.
I’d try to keep it realistic. He’s been raised to be King, but he was not finished with his training. His father was a strong, emotional man and subconsciously, he would emulate what he perceived to be his father’s strength. That, and a teenage boy’s hormones would lead into irrational and at times, brutal behavior.
At this point, I’m pretty much done with WoW.
If they restarted it with Overwatch level graphics as WoW 2.0 brought in better writers and FAIR DEVS (half would have to be Alliance mains), I would buy a lifetime sub.
I know Ion has a tough job, but by remaining horde-only, he’s blinding himself to the experience of half of his customers.
i hope they either make him better or kill him off. he’s a ridiculous mary sue of a character as it sits.
I’m not subbed in WoW, so I can’t send mail, but I’m having a friend send you a message.
Can you put your battletag here so I can contact you on battle.net? You can delete it as soon as I have it.
okay cool.
Garrosh was dealt with, so Theramore was avenged. I am wondering how Blizzard is going to deal with Sylvanas. Her plot armor is OP.
I’m not sure why you’re upset. I never said what you were asking for was a bad thing. And I did say you wanted something equal.
I’m a writer, as well, so I understand exactly where you’re coming from.
I would also like to see a more complex and darker side to the Alliance. And not simply one character, either.
I’d say the Alliance is pretty well off right now. I mean, we didn’t completely forget history and rashly jump into bed with the Zandalari, for one. And that’s a big one.
we can start with mandiun kicking a puppy and work up from there.
Assaulting a Horde capital in Dazar’alor, murdering tons of trolls aligned with the Horde during said sacking of the city, and then slaughtering their King wasn’t enough to avenge what happened in Teldrassil?
I’m all for killing more Horde, don’t get me wrong.
But let’s not pretend that we haven’t gotten some revenge in for what happened, by the story we have very nearly wiped out the Horde at this point in lore during the Dazar’alor attack.
Yeah without metzen this is lorelol barf
This is probably exactly what will happen. I wish for once the quality of writing were to surprise me and actually give us a more realistic outcome…but I have little hope for Teldrassil to become more than another Theramore.
No, we assaulted people who barely just became horde.
