So we team up with the horde for yet another convenient threat and are supposed to just deal with Teldrassil the way we just took it with Theramore?

There needs to be a patch where the Alliance deals a similar blow to the horde that they will feel for a few expansions. Not some little camp or some blight-infested ruins.

There needs to be a patch where the horde are like “Good Thrall! What just happened???”

The Alliance has NEVER got our fist bump moment. What the devs script as “victory” for us ended up being us barely surviving and only because of THREE deus ex machina!

Yeah, conjure something up in the next expansion so the horde can defeat it and you’ll see how meaningless it is.

Oooh magic island. Horde raid! You kill the bouncing ball of fury!
You’ve never heard of it before but…it’s important! That’s a VICTORY!!!

Meanwhile the Alliance is going to sink Durotar.

And NO, Vhx, you’re relying on weak writing. Do you read any books that mindlessly follow that pattern?

I’m betting that you don’t.

Even so, the Alliance needs to react with retribution that is meaningful.

This entire expansion has been a fist pumping moment for the alliance.

The horde has done nothing but fail and at the moment are losing the war.

The alliance fan base will never be happy…

Don’t need to read books about a video game. Canon or not. The “noble” Alliance would not cast the first stone. It’s just not in their wheelhouse.

The Battle of Dazar’alor raid is an huge Alliance fist bump moment.

Also let’s not forget Siege of Orgrimmar.

Would be nice if Blizzard would allow the Horde to have a raid on a Alliance city for once.

Uh, WHAT? Can you point to a single fist bump? We’ve had to survive every single encounter. Sylvanas is plot armored ahead of us one step every time.

Vhx even if you believe so, the Alliance needs some kind of meaningful retribution for Teldrassil. Just shoving this aside like we had to with Theramore isn’t even rational.

Siege of Orgrimmar? What did we do? Oh right, we were the horde sidekicks.

The devs have three channels for Alliance:

  1. Horde NPC
  2. Horde sidekicks
  3. Survive horde attacks

Dreadmoon doesn’t count those, Vhx because he’s been so spoiled by the devs.

As for killing Sylvanas? Yes it would, but you and I both know that’s not going to happen. Thrall will step in and insist for horde justice or she will become the Lich Queen and get away with it.

The Alliance wins just enough to stay alive.
