So, that Tyrande cut scene

So, after all of the eyes turning black, looking like a blood lusted vampire and gaining the power of a god…that was it?

Pretty much, yeah. That’s warcraft storytelling for you.

Apparently, Tyrande will “play an important role in Shadowlands” (but I lol at them, they always say that kind of stuff haha)

But her home was burned here and now?! And they made her transform into basically a god and all she did was run around in the woods for the rest of the expansion. Pretty sad

There is honestly just too much going on in BfA. They could have split up all these plots, made them coherent/complete, and had 2-3 expansions’ worth of material at their disposal.

Yes.

Welcome to BFA.

Where nothing makes sense.

Blizzard tried to do way too much with BFA. too many loose ends got left with unsatisfactory ends

It could have been great if all the different aspects got as much attention as all the others… but they didn’t.

There is a little bit more: right after that we got beat up by Nathanos with the power of Writer Self-Insertion. After all, he’s REALLY good with a bow. Like, super good. With a bow.

On the bright side, we get to have another character set up to be corrupted and turn evil. The pinnacle of storytelling - so good that we get to see it every expansion!

Yeahp. I guess that happens when you gather so many plots in only one expac (just for BFA, they added giant sword, azshara, nzoth, “faction war”, night elf conflict, jaina’s family issues, sad orcs, emo elves, Vol’jin, and mechagon (who didn’t have anything to do with the rest of the expac as far as i remember)). It seems that not even the writers had a clear idea of what they wanted to do, which is a shame because all these topics had such a great potential and they just wnet “puff” in the air.

Remember , according to Blizzard, night elves got revenge from their city being burned by…killing a few orcs.

Let’s also remember that if many “important” youtubers and other members of the warcraft community like the red shirt guy didn’t complain along with pretty much the rest of us, Nathanos would’ve actually soloe’d Tyrande in her night warrior form right after she got it lol.

Blizzard just really are pretty pretty bad sometimes, and they specially hate night elves.

The funniest thing is that later we found out, they aren’t even relevant.

That’s why I don’t pay attention to “lore” anymore haha. It is just a joke.

I accidentally did something like that when I was a fan fic writing teenager. Just “Oh crap too many ideas at once how do I do this?”

It was not fun lol

Well she looked all spooky.

BfA’s story in a nutshell.

The story threads in this game are impossible to follow, which sucks because some threads are really intetesting.

Some seemingly trash side quest can turn into an epic story thread spanning multiple zones then just fizzle out with no explanation to maybe be picked back up a few expansions later but probably not.

It really makes you stop paying attention to everything and turns into:

“We gotta go in this place and kill everything.”
“Ok why are doing that?”
“Because they’re bad.”
“Bad huh? What are they doing?”
“Holding loot.”

Yeah, talking about unfinished storylines…can my shadow priest take off the eye yet or is there something really cool set in store? I was hoping a special toy or pet at least.
