My take on it is now Tyrande is now the avatar of Elune on Azeroth. An Avatar always carries a (large) portion of a God’s power (in DnD at least which the devs often take inspiration from). Since this is Elune’s war aspect it will be extremely powerful. Tyrande/Elune is probably on par with Sylvanas. The “downside” is that Tyrande is likely greatly diminished and you are speaking mostly to Elune now. I also suspect she may never return fully mortal and either dies like this or fades away.
You know I legit thought that the severity of the situation would have lead the Night Elves forming their own faction.
If the NEs formed their own facion it would pull several races from Horde and Alliance.
It ran through my mind as well. Even that the Night Elves and Blood Elves would ally into a new, third, faction.
It would just be Night Elves and worgen. I don’t see why they would splinter though.
Well there has to be consequences for the burning of Teldrassil. Horde didn’t really suffer any consequences while the Alliance didn’t do enough.
So races peeling off of Horde and Alliance would seem a consequence that matches the severity of the situation.
Since Tyrande actually cares about her people and doesn’t go belly up to a human king, I would follow her to hell and back.
isn’t this cutscene like a solid 15 seconds longer than the N’zoth raid ending (53 vs 37 seconds)?
Seems like an epic by modern Blizz standards.
I mean, I hear ya, but this team…
The war is over. I 'm pretty sure that will be no conflicts between Horde and Alliance from now on.
They gonna use Tyrande’s hate to paint her like a crazy lady in shadowlands, and I think things gonna end bad for her. Write what I’m saying, they are working very hard in Shadris development since Tides of Vengeance for a reason.
They are kind of hinting at this leading into shadowlands.
But I think the NEs leading a new faction should have been the conclusion to BFA. BFA started with a two faction war and should have ended with three factions heading into shadowlands.
I think Blizz is holding onto the third faction possibility too long IMO and should just pull the trigger based on how BFA story has unfolded.
Of course she will play an important role. She is one of the main leaders of the Alliance.
My guess… as arm candy to Malufurian she will be the one to bring him back from the edge.
your mistake was not charging a monthly sub for two years plus $40-70 for the start of your fanfic… then you could have not really wrapped any of that up and still have a swath of loyal customers swearing you’re doing great.
The tragedy is not that their entire home, lands, and innocent families and generations of immortal beings were burned to the ground…
The real tragedy is that Blizz wrote it off with a 30 sec cut scene, where they all cheer that being “bonded” is the real solution they’ve been fighting for all along… the darkness of Elune? Nah, that just blinded Tyrande from seeing her connection to her last remaining group of 15 rag-tags… and that’s all that’s needed.
Who writes this crap?
If you got a hint out of that video, I bow down to your foreshadowing skills.
I pray that with BFA, this terrible war story plot dies for at least the next 10yrs or so. BFA has proven its absolutely terrible, with forced fanfic level writing to appeal to both sides cause a story like this just doesn’t work when the playerbase is composed of both warring factions. Instead of wasting time on this war plot, we could’ve had a full fledged expansion dedicated to Azshara and N’zoth leading into Shadowlands. A full coherent expansion with a singular focus / enemy like WOTLK.
I pray with Shadowlands we don’t get more of this split story BS, and have a single goal in mind for the entire expansion. A truly coherent story about stopping Sylvanas and the Jailer. Thank god BFA is finally over.
Huh? You mean like when a mature company knows what they’re doing ?
Nah! Heresy!
Even with the ‘Terror of Darkshore’ they still gave the last nod to the Horde. Well to Nathanos.
I honestly don’t even want to guess because it’s useless.
I truly wonder if the writing team say proudly to their friends or acquaintances: yes, I’m part of the writing team of WoW.
You just described SJW … errrr … WoW in a nutshell.
It’s a shame Blizzard did nothing more with the Night Warrior stuff because I was so excited for it, but it ended up being nothing, with Nathanos frolicking away, completely unscathed.
She’s the jammed cog in the machine of peace. They seemed so close to potentially having peace between the factions, but since it was asked and they said no… they had to find their out. She’s it.
Every other racial leader: “Yes, we’ve been at war too long for no reason. Too much suffering, let’s end the killing.”
Tyrande: “No way bruh. No peace between the factions until the leader who actually wasn’t even concerned about the Horde and is no longer a part of it, who they ALSO hate and want brought to justice… is dealt with!”
Yay Tyrande for single-handedly keeping the faction war going another expansion.
