Wearing collective gear in warsong is equivalent to griefing your team, regardless of whether it is sanctioned by blizz or not.

The problem is that they justify is by saying that everyone else had to start form 0 as well.
As true as that might be, a lot of people did AV to gear up which is they should also be going.
I think knowing the optimal way to get gear and not doing it and playing a BG where you know gear is important is pretty much griefing.

I would agree, if it actually mattered. 8 days till wrath = who cares.
It won’t stop in 8 days lol, Wrath will also continue to same trend of undergeared players at 80 using it as a vehicle to get free upgrades.
What we need to do is stop fighting each other and try to get some kinda rated BG system going, incentivize people to play against their own gear level.
Wanting teammates that can contribute their share is not too much to ask.
Full communals might as well be AFK.

The only good thing about boostie gear in bgs is hitting a 5.5k chaos bolt and one shotting one of them on the enemy team.

Saw a boosted ret pally in greens complaining that a 68 dk was ruining his av earlier.

Do you think that’s where they started? Every one of those geared players started off in greens and blues as well. It was through tenacious effort they got their brutal gear. That’s how it is in PvP. Even you were there at one point and no one complained about you? I mean the nerve of you, freaking Gatekeepers are the worst.

Literally not barring them from their gear, merely said they should stick to AV instead of wasting everyone’s time guaranteeing our team loses in WSG.

Ah down to being a head I see, not surprising since grob ally actually are rage muffins when things don’t go their way.
Ironically, I’ve seen a lot more grob players do the same.
Consider this, does pve not expect some form of pre-bis gearing before you participate?
Why should pvp be different? The reputation blues exist for that purpose.
Of course, GDKP is the skip for having to be somewhat geared before you attend.
Too bad boosties can’t pay us for carrying them in BGs…

Excellent point. Blizzard provided us reputation blue gear for fresh 70 toons early on in the expansion and yet collective geared people won’t even bother getting that.
They also have the option of going into AV and getting at least a few pieces before jumping into Warsong or EotS. There is no pvp in AV its just a dumb base race with some griefing.
