100%…the classic version of shadow form is my favorite. Would love a glyph of it.

A few things. We still need the level 25 talents looked at. We need some utility. While we might be functional but it we currently dont have a reason to be brought to high keys. Also would look into Mastery being a verse 2.0.

Yeah, while playing Classic i was shocked to see that in Vanilla, the shadowform was so much better.
Umm don’t you have to have an active sub to use the forums?
Sub time could still be active until the end date.
For example, I canceled my sub when they did beta announcement and said “no more major overhauls etc.” to classes.
But it didn’t expire till Dec. 17th as I was on a 6 month sub.

Sad to see priests moving further and further from what thrilled me about shadow in the first place but, I get it. Prioritizing lengthy haste-generating voidforms is fun and thrilling from a player perspective but it just had too many drawbacks to go the distance.
In terms of changes, they seem objectively pretty great for specialization health and all-purpose viability. Given that, I doubt shadow priest devotees will have any cause to complain come Shadowlands. As for me, I’ll be certain to give it a try although my gut seems to think that this new iteration on shadow won’t quite cut the mustard for me since I was one of the few who really adored the legion S2M iteration of shadow, impractical though it often was for anything but raiding. Time will tell.

Wasn’t there suppose to be a glyph for this? If not, then it is really sad that an effect from classic is superior to the one we have now.

I was mid-leveling a Shaman to play Enhance in Shadowlands and now this?
Oh boy, now I’ll struggle to decide. Time to wait for actual feedback in the feedback thread that isn’t just “I WANT MY CLASS FANTASY FOR 2 EXPANSIONS TO REMAIN, SCREW EVERYONE ELSE.”

This is a weird question, do you also have a destro lock with somewhat of the same name (void something or other), also a void elf?
@Ravenborne, @stabystabs, voidform is not a 20% damage increase, its 10%. You get 10% in shadowform, and lose that bonus when you enter voidform. Voidform then gives you 20% over base (25 with lotv), not over shadowform.
Its dumb, but you can see it in your spell damage values if you look.
How close is this to pre-Legion Spriest?
We don’t know for sure yet. But it seems to be close, perhaps better.
Very excited to see where all of this goes and how these changes interact with what we’ve seen so far from Shadowlands.
