Jesus christ, the complaining here is so hilarious.
“We want old content and raids to be relevant!”
Blizzard tries to do something new to make older stuff relevant, and now you guys are just whining?
Timewalking doesn’t count either. Because the challenge there is negligible and the gear is awful. Bringing back older dungeons and raids that drop decent stuff, that last longer than a week, and are changed in a way to feel fresh is 10000000x better than any damn timewalking slog fest.
“We hate content droughts!”
Okay, here’s something to tide you over. If you don’t like it, well, that’s a different, actually reasonable point. It looks like this new season will touch on PVP, M+, and Raids, so that should at least give some of the playerbase something to do. If they added more questing content, and made leveling even easier before the 10.0 pre-patch, with some Legion-invasion like events, even better.
And I don’t get this complaint either.
As opposed to what? Getting CE after 6 months and then breaking 6 months until the next expansion? Every guild stops raiding during the patch at some point, and everyone knew this patch was going to last a year, if not longer. We are looking at 12-16 months on 9.2 and 9.2.5.
How is fresh raid content a bad idea? If your guild doesn’t want to raid, or wants to switch into low-gear, just… do that? Or… run one of the raids? We don’t know how this system will work, what the affix is, or if the gear will be worth it. It could be some amalgamation of bosses from all three raids like some sort of boss rush.
