So, Rogues, Last Class to get Raid Spot

Most of the people who spout this garbage saw a tier list on a video so they come here to regurgitate the meta they saw.

Rogues will be fine, sure you won’t have 8 in a raid anymore but you won’t have 8 of any one class.

What I find funny is the people who spout this meta are typically bad and are usually green parsers. I guess if youtube says it, it must be true.

If you are the only rogue in the raid… guess who has a high chance to getting that glaive drop… hint hint…

Can’t wait to embarrass all of the hunter/warlock rerolls on my rogue. :dagger:

How do you plan on outplaying a 1 button class?

Hope they lag?

In my vanilla/TBC guild that was the most progressed horde guild on our server, it was our mages and rogues atop DPS every raid, not warlocks or hunters. Sure our hunters/locks weren’t the greatest, but that goes to show how thin the margins are.

Compare that to vanilla where any mouthbreathing fury warrior with full world buffs will beat every other class.

Plenty of classes are 1-button right now in classic. Playing poorly will still reflect on your damage output. Stuff like positioning and using every GCD separates good from bad, no matter how many buttons you’re pushing.

Rogue bring a short CD interrupt sound like plenty of utility to me.

Every class is basically two button rotations.

Even hunters are 2 abilities

And I don’t think the one button rotation macro is going to work in this version.

Not really very useful in raids

Especially when shamans exist

And yet all raids will have trash mobs/bosses that will need kicking. Every raid is going to have 5 shamans right? Especially want those healers wasting gcds on kicks.

Pretty much yeah. Since bloodlust is party only in TBC.

Especially want those healers wasting gcds on kicks.

There’s maybe 4 bosses in the whole expansion where you even need to kick anything. So like I said, not really very useful raid utility when you’ve already got 5 shamans with earth shock on a 6 second cooldown.

this is only for elite e-peen guilds… TBC raids in general are EASY! Sunwell is the only tough raid in TBC and once that zone hits rogues catch up a bit especially if they have glaives.

Lol this guy never did council in black temple

No rogues in my raid friend. Its not that they are last, they are just not on the list, why take someone who can only DPS when they do that 30% worse than the top dps?

Shaman can interupt.

You do realize rogues are the highest single target dps in TBC , right?

Rogues will still get into raids. Guilds back in the day took rogues all the time and had no problem. My guild had 2 in every raid and 3 some days and we still killed all bosses up to felmist in their prenerf versions.

Idk that vid paints a much different picture.

It seems hunters/locks/rogues/mages/warriors will he top.

Obviously some fights are different.

The vid shows hunters/warlocks on top on virtually every fight in every tier except for rogues/warriors using warglaives on demon bosses.

I just think the content’s going to be a lot easier than it is on private servers where they typically buff the bosses.

I just don’t really think it matters who you bring.

But I’m more of a bring the player not the class
