Man just, want happened look I enjoyed dragon flight and it will go down as a good expansion in my eyes, there hasn’t been a moment I really wasn’t into it - I mean I have slowed down the wow life alot these days so casual player at best as my other post have suggested but going back and looking at old cut scenes like omg just what happened: how did we go from the epic “no means no light creature!”
with epic voice actors, mood, tone, depth, complexity, anger and acceptance

Legion was indeed the last expansion of this game that I would describe as predominantly good. BFA, Shadowlands, and Dragonflight… exist, I guess. I only come back every few months now for one month to see what’s new and then take long breaks again. It is what it is…
right! that’s another thing why does she keep walking around in Visage form! she’s a dragon! a PROUD dragon mind you that should be in her PROUD dragon form. I know dragons have used Visage forms in the past but they MOSTLY remained as dragons outside a very select few.

Sorry to tell you but, no. Alexstrasza ain’t that powerful of a dragon, at least compared to the other aspects. I’m pretty sure she’s actually the weakest out of them all, but with the red flight’s task she makes for a good leader.
She’s a diplomat and a mother. And she has always been that.
Personally, I don’t enjoy the power ranger dialogue of DF. I don’t understand why they couldn’t nail a lighthearted tone while still treating us like adults. I believe MoP did this perfectly, and it was marketed as a brief reprieve from the chaos of Azeroth at its announcement, similar to DF. Yes MoP had its darker moments, but at its core it was about coming together despite our differences and learning to enjoy life a little. Look at the messaging of the Pandaren “slow down, life is to be savored” and the Celestials.
It seems DF tried to nail this vibe as well with the whole, “We’re a family!” mantra. Yet it’s all so goofy and bland.
The second Raszegath was freed, you’d suppose Big Alex would secure the Vault of the Incarnates. Rasz’s logical objective being the freedom of her kin.
Alex never mentioned it. There wouldn’t be a raid at the vault at all if Rasz didn’t get to monologing and tell us that’s where she was headed. She could have just gotten in and out without any interference from us at all.
Rewatching the Harbinger series for me, hammered home just how far we have fallen. A side quest from a Legion dungeon had a cut scene better than anything we saw in Dragonflight.
Indeed, and when you try to point it out because of what it was you have these forum people wanting to attack you for something that was, and what was awesome and we miss.
I don’t know if people know this, well, maybe some people might know this but warcraft 1 released in 1994 - most of the FANS OF WARCRAFT the long term subbers, players, true nerds/ragers of this game started at warcraft 1, we are ALL ADULTS and yes, there are “younger fans” in the game but I am going to assume 85% of the player base currently is in the adult range.
The game is also rated T, for teen and I have seen more well thought story’s on the power puff girls then current wow. Look it might seem like im ragging on wow, and I am, but I also love the game and still play it as an ADULT fan, this story is very childish and I get it, we can’t be all war and brooding all the time but you gotta find a balance, this Expansion just is way to friendly.
the best part of this Exp was I feel was Raszageth - then we killed her off so quick and got her 3 INFERIOR siblings, it was just so jarring how it went from: this can be pretty cool to - So the fire guy has an axe now and a temper tantrum? Wait…aint he a dragon why does he have an Axe?!

The world soul “saga” (3 expacs) could be solely written about the jailers nipples that he loved to show off. Just his nips, 3 entire expansions about nipples…
And they would be better characters than arthas ever was.
Why indeed: This person is clearly just not from that Era: its the same how I think Iron man (robert downy) was cool but Im sure some 2023 edge lord kid will go “ew why?”
