So, Renown 40

Hi,

So I got to renown 40 on my character I’m going to use for flying. What’s left to do now before 9.1?

Anything you enjoy doing?

It’s a game, not a job.

Taking previous pathfinders as guide. Explore all the zones.
They said they wouldnt rep lock it… buttttt go get some rep with the zones, too.

I think they’re looking for more concrete suggestions like… I don’t know, collecting pets. Getting mounts. Maybe check out some neat mogs that are available in the other covenants for their main’s armor type so they have access to more during this content.

I’d be taking the time to stock anima/Stygia for stuff.

you’ve got to get only one 40 renown right? Cos I got it on NF and Venthry. Kyrian and Necro are still woefully behind.

Sure. But it helps to know what they actually enjoy doing. Someone could suggest pet battles to me (like the game did with the weekly) but I’d rather attempt Twisting Corridors than that…

Though thinking of Torghast, building up Soul Ash prepatch isn’t a bad idea in case there’s a new 9.1 Legendary power worth crafting for you. Or is Soul Ash being paid out?

u can get the soul bind that are for raid , pepole not gonna do old raid , so u cant get if the soul bind in naritha if ur in 9.1 or more if u dont got 2 hour to wait for lfr

Well to fly you’ll need:

  1. exhaled in every faction including the maw, 2. finish all of the twisting corridors
  2. have loremaster complete.
  3. one of every character class at max level
  4. Keystone master
  5. A mythic sire kill
  6. Reknown 40 in a faction

does’nt feel like it sometimes… i just got two callings… both tellin me to head off to the maw. that’s not fun, that’s work…

Well since you don’t actually need Renown 40 for flying, you can just do what you want. Get some gear, do some PVP, try getting some achievements done. Just play the game and have fun.

I think you have that reversed. It’s a job, not a game. At least, that’s how it’s designed.

I really wish people would research before they try to give others advice on what they need to do.

Nothing to do all that is left to do is a little bit of the 9.1 campaign. SL PF is different then past ones no need to explore all zones

You just need 40 on one toon so that it can open up the next bit of renown . You only need to get PF on one toon and it is actually a lot easier then past ones .

Play TBC

I guess I need to finish the Covenant Campaign. I’ll do that. I’d like to gear up and do LFR too, but i’m not doing Boreghast for Legendary and WQs are only giving me 164s. I guess I can kill the World Boss each week. I guess the other option is leveling characters less than level 50, because I refuse to level in SL any more until I unlock flying.

You could level up the covenant set you get from the covenant campaign to 197. It’s pretty fast. I think WQs can go up to 197 as well but based on your average item level. Increasing your covenant set item level, will boost up WQ item levels. You can get lucky with necklace, trinkets, rings, and off-hands (weapon/shield) to fill in slots not covered by covenant set. The mobs in the new 9.1 zone will probably be balanced around ~200 item level, so you’ll want to get around there if you plan to continue.

Question! Are we able to use other flying mounts in four zones, or do we have to use the flying mounts from our covenants to fly in their respective realms?

If I recall correctly, a while ago Druids can’t use their flying form after they unlocked in PTR.

Probably a bug on PTR. You can use any flying mount you wish. :slightly_smiling_face:
