I mean, it’s funny.
Funny how you can PvP with your buddy and ignore everyone else.
Funny how BGs are all cross realm open to all levels.
Funny how arena teams are now cross realm too.
But godforbid we run Scarlet Monastery and Slave Pens cross realm!
server community only matters when it comes to pressing a button to invite 4 random strangers and then waiting on one of them to run to the dungeon entrance so they can summon the 3 lazy people who kept questing or standing in Dal, and then never seeing them again.
Screw that let’s aim high instead of asking for scraps.
I want RDF, LFR, RAF, and cross realm raids/communities/groups and I’m tired of pretending like I don’t. What makes retail bad is the content, class design, boss fights, and rotations. NOT the tools to find groups/friends.
Why people who don’t even play retail feel they can have an opinion about tools they’ve never used or content they’ve never experienced is beyond me. But I don’t value their opinion anymore than when my child tells me she doesn’t like a food she’s never tried.
Honestly its because there is almost no one doing PvP to the point we somehow have a lot more people playing WOTLK than TBC yet a smaller number of PvP players.
The server health and community idea is a different topic than RDF or cross-realm arena. The server communities died with TBC.
“older” =/= “better”
But “older” certainly means less free time.
idk about you mate, but I got a family and work. (WFH at least) . So RDF would certainly spice things up a little.
Right now leveling is a single player game. And the way shared exp works, Blizz is asking us to play solo.
Yeah funny how there’s a whopping 180 characters on Pagle ranking in 2v2 yet that server has 16,000 raiders.
Not a stretch to realize why LFG for PvP is ABYSMAL per server and how cross realm becomes necessary for it to even keep going. But sure, make this about RDF because how dare they help that dying PvP population!
