So premades are... actually a problem

Rarely does it ever happen but yes there is drama here n there but you can go somewhere like the leader to address the issues.

Similarly, pugs also have ways to address the issues.

Blizzard even reminded everyone about the social contract recently.

Simply put it’s a nicer place to play the game as intended …and this philosophy that a pug cannot win against a premade is false it happens alot actually. If a PUG works together for the most part they can win just as easily. Some premades are only 10 or so people from the community it’s not all 40 community members each game i assure you. As a matter of fact i have only seen 1 time it was all 40 of the same community in the last year.

If you had to estimate the win rate of pugs vs. premade raids, what would be your guess?

That is always going to change but I know last night I lost 75% of the matches I was in and two were against premades but we only had maybe 15 or less. understand I roll with various communities so I do not speak for any one community so don’t assume I was with SaS as they are just one group you tend to see me with.

In general, if you had to estimate the win rate of pugs vs. premade raids, what would be your guess?

Which two premades did you go against?

I forget the first one but the second was SPM as I killed Mizriz a couple times lol …finally got into an ebg with them.

Teammates! :stuck_out_tongue: These teammates are awful and not cooperating! That’s what we say in disc.

Almost any time i’m queuing more than 3 it’s at least two undergeared alts who need daily win of the day because they’re fresh toons

We do zero comp stacking, it’s whatever people need geared at that moment for whatever reason

I took my 292k hp holy paladin into regular bgs last week lol

Whenever people in the forum ask where they should go to gear their fresh toons, we tell them to go into epic bgs.

I wouldn’t be surprised if epic bgs have more fresh toons than smaller bgs, but maybe it’s the same.

My pc can’t handle epic bgs and since i only play healers it’s literally impossible for me to contribute to initial teamfight with 2 fps

It’s like 1 GCD every 2 seconds.

You have ~4 frames per GCD. That’s plenty!

Some healers are easier, like mw i can just press revival or emerald communion/rewind on pres and just top meters before i die but hpal is pretty brutal. You get 1 holy shock off and… thats it lol

Overall I’d guess maybe 60 to 70% but that really depends on the time of day as I play with the Aussies in the AM and the US later in the early evening 8pm to about 1am. The best part of the day is early morning I am at about 80% to 90% with maybe a group of 10 to 15. During the daytime I don’t play much PvP because the Alliance pretty much dominate the daytimes. So if I play it’s on an alli toon.

don’t know if you are running addons or not, but addons that read the combat log and/or use the addon channel really slow down your fps in heavy fighting. even the best and most expensive gaming systems can only do 45-55 fps with 0 addons. i have a 12900k@5ghz and still drop to 12-24 fps in really heavy fights, wow’s main thread for whatever reasons is just heavy to compute, its lack of parallelism means multicore cpus don’t really help and cpu instructions per cycle rate matters more. a pc from 10 years ago can run wow just about as good as a brand new top of the line gaming system. the only thing the new system does is 4k and ray tracing.

That blows I’m sorry to hear that I remember back in the day I was running right on that edge as well with everything turned down.

I’m pretty minimal addon wise, it’s definitely my settings and my processor/motherboard werent that great even when i got them in 2016 :face_with_spiral_eyes: they need an upgrade

I def need to take a serious look at settings though, even when i stream i get pretty bad quality

Tis true but If I try to explain in here Teammates and PUG people will be confused but yes our teammates is how DJL rolls…they are not considered PUGS. In all honesty if you take away all the trolling and solo acts there really is no difference in they play between Premade and “Teammates”. Yoggy did a great job alliance side with PUGS …most people knew him so when he said follow x or skull people did and it worked. The only difference is team work versus solo acts really! In wargames and such Discord is a thing there but for the most part it’s used mostly for banter in normal games and an occasional “I Died this is not acceptable” out of jest lol

So truth be told I wish everyone played in a community and left the trolls and solo acts on ignore. There is just too much nasty and hateful things said and people not even trying to work as a team in the random pick up crowds. It is so awful I posted one of the most minor things said the other day using more proper terms and it got flagged. You can only imagine if I had used the words they used I probably would have been banned. So no it’s not a perfect world but premades are playing the game as it is intended to be played like it or not. The best most fun matches are always premade versus premade imho because two teams are objective based hammering it out always switching strats to compensate …it’s just awesome times win or lose it’s just the best!

Well Ghost is back, I better not die!
