So much for the prepatch event

Imagine playing a game for the rewards instead of the experience. Maybe try the event anyway? Maybe it’ll be fun.

well,I’m a nut I’ll do it anyway.

This, or do the thing entirely in a short and have the world impacted with the devastation when the player next logs in.

That should deal with the crybabies.

That is what I encountered a little bit ago on the PTR.

i don’t mind it if it is an event

Uh - those others signed up for a PvE server. Blame Blizzard for going for an all or nothing scorched earth policy. PvE players just don’t want to be involved in world PvP and keeping the PvP parts in War Mode would have fixed a lot of the issues.

I started on a PvP server and stayed there until Blizzard fully opened up server transfers [i.e. PvE to PvP] and never made any effort to keep factions even remotely balanced. I got to watch my friends transfer, reroll or quit and I went to PvE to avoid that happening again. It’s an entirely different experience on PvE and yeah, they aren’t going to be real open to forced PvP when they didn’t sign up for it to begin with, no matter if they started before or after the start of War Mode.

I also remember the Wrath event on a PvP server - pretty much it was high level players ganking whoever was vulnerable at the time. I highly doubt that it was just people on the forums complaining that caused this change in course, probably behavior on the PTR heavily influenced their desicion.

If anything, be mad at Blizzard for not learning from past mistakes, planning around this kind of thing in a way to give players multiple avenues to experience the event, and once again swinging the pendulum too hard in the other direction when confronted with a problem they should have seen coming.

Yeah, the crybabies win again. And next month they’ll be crying about how nothing new ever makes it into the game like they weren’t the problem to begin with.

I’m just in it for the cosmetics and the little bit of lore we’ll get. Imo nothing has topped the legion prepatch event so far.

So lame… another bit of boring non-engaging, fly around and hit the loot piñata unchallenging “content”… idk why I expected anything else.

Oh well, play something else then?

Agreed. Not to mention pre patch events don’t even last that long. People’s reactions are if its permanent.

If you could be gentle enough to point me to the post where I supposedly copied and pasted I would thank you. I did not do as such.
