Everything is always subject to change.
Tis the way of an ever evolving game.
Choice is definitely always nice, but unfortunately its not always the direction they go.
I know I for one was pretty upset when surv went melee and combat went outlaw forced 1 handers.
So I get it.
Talk about a dumb overreaction if true. Whose to say if the changes won’t get reverted. I have MM hunters that just dropped in priority to be played but even at 70 are worth plenty for doing trivial content like mog runs and stuff.
An Appeal to Authority is a subset of the more general Genetic Fallacy, which is when an argument is supported or dismissed based purely on its origin, regardless of the actual content of the argument. You’re ignoring the content of the argument and claiming that you’re just right because you say so, which is a genetic fallacy. And you attempt to support that by pointing to achievements and claiming that those make you an authority on the topic of hunter gameplay.
Copied straight from wikipedia:
The general form of this type of argument is:
Person A claims that X is true.
Person A is an expert in the field concerning X.
Therefore, X should be believed.
You (Person A) claim that your unsupported assertions (X) are true,
because you (Person A) are an expert on the topic of hunters (the field concerning X).
Therefore, we should believe your unsupported assertions (X).
Seriously one of my pet peeves. Want to complain? Fine start the conversation. But holy crap take 2 seconds out of your life and throw a link up to add some context.
They did mention in the Hunter Feedback thread that we’ll be able to change the Eagle’s appearance:
Room to Grow
This next step for Marksmanship is, ideally, the first of many. We are interested in continuing to flesh out Marksmanship’s Eagle as a true pet and partner for you on your journeys with unique interactions, effects, and even appearances in the future, but we don’t have specifics to share yet. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
Whether it’s just the color palette or entirely different animals - like bats or pterrodax - remains to be seen.
