Watching people argue that anything ‘not used’ by the ‘majority’ in m+ and raiding should be removed is really funny to me. It means they’d lose the races they’re playing on, and we’d be locked to only having ‘single target’ and ‘aoe’ talents and anything else stripped.

Plenty of people raid and do mythic plus on MM hunters - you are the person who claims they aren’t viable in that content without even doing anything of any difficulty. That spells skill issue not class issue.

Isn’t that the thing tho, like mm can choose not to have a pet if they don’t want to but there is an option for it still. The only reason I can see them getting rid of it is that it’s easier to balance without it with other talents/hero talents. Lol

Of course it should be added I do not play hunters. But just from a perspective of somebody that enjoyed it in the past. I don’t get it.
I like how no one seems to care about Chimeara shot getting axed. I suppose the new aspect of the hydra replaces it.
Looking at that article it’s a quote from a post that was never even referenced and doesn’t say what you say it says anyway. It wasn’t too magical to shoot arrows. It was, according to whatever source they were quoting, a magical ability akin to rain of fire, and not a very thematic move for the hunter. IE shooting one arrow in the air and having hundreds come down didn’t make sense for the class. I would disagree with that still since it’s all magic and fantasy, but the fact that we have no idea where that quote came from means I cannot trust it.
If your argument had merit you would not need to misinterpret quotes with no source to back it up.

Come on now. Don’t pretend we don’t all know that marksman hasn’t had it’s day in the Sun since classic. And even back then it wasn’t really marksman. It has been weighed down by it’s reliance on pets for way too long and has always been worse than BM and Survival in every expansion. It has been the red-headed step-child of this game since launch and it’s because of pets. with comparable gear and competency a BM in the current expansion and season will do 1.5x the dps or more than a MM. That is under performing. Marksman has always played at a disadvantage. It’s time we eat.

Survival has been doing pretty well. Some patches, it beats both mm and bm.
Like here are the stats just from raiderio.
It’s doing better than 2 rogue specs, 2 priest specs, dk, mage, lock, monk, all 3 evoker specs (jk aug is slightly above it).
What rating threshold is that set at? because on warcraft logs even with it being the best spec numerically atm it’s below MM and BM on logs
