Just call out the low level alt!

Can I play too!?

I hope I did it right…
This like communicating cross faction with emotes.
The new 1337 speak.
I don’t even play Era and I can see why it is bad for those servers. They are locked in and should be as close to Vanilla WoW 1.12 as possible. It is also going to change specs. Now a few players who would be brought along with a hybrid spec won’t be needed.

Get it?
Duel Spec(tacles)?
Seems like a criticism of those who are, even though your post says you’re not thrilled about dual spec being in the game.
So, the only thing you’re going to do about something you don’t like is criticize those who complain about it?
That is an interesting take.
As for me, I don’t like the idea that they are adding changes to Era., but I also don’t really know what I would do about it. I want to enjoy Classic, and I’ll give it a try with all of these changes they’ve added. At some point, I’ll be asking myself (over and over) what I’m doing playing this version over another version, and whether that’s worthwhile (I tend to evaluate things this way for some reason).
Part of the process is evaluating the Retail changes that they have added. What at some point becomes apparent to me is that a major (the major?) reason I would opt to play a Classic version of the game is the lack of these very Retail “features,” and so adding them in makes me question whether I should continue doing so.
There’s also the idea of experiencing the classes I play in their earlier design forms. It would be difficult for me to point to anything mechanically about Classic that is better or more enjoyable (or rather not worse or less enjoyable) than Retail.* It’s really the difference in systems that shape player behavior that make Classic shine, in my opinion. So when they start tacking these “little” things on, like the group finder tool, why not just play a much better evolved and more mechanically enjoyable version of the game?
I mean really, if you’re losing the parts that make Classic classic, why continue to play it?
So, the question is really whether the changes to player behavior that the changes the developers are forcing to a game they didn’t develop, but have the responsibility to be custodians of erode the type of community that makes the game worthwhile to play, or if they are acceptable. And then, either way, so what? Is there a path for recourse anyway?
Note: *hunters having to use arrows, having melee weapons and ranged weapons, having to feed pets, and having to train pets to acquire pet skills and skill ups are all things I think are better in Classic, though I don’t think I’d describe those as mechanical.

dual spec bad
it really is that simple
i can see people love the convenience of it. fine. but why is it allowed anywhere in the world? it should only be usable in a rested area.
yup. it kills hybrid specs because why be a hybrid when you can just be dool speck with each spec being fully optimized?
sigh
I had another motive for the post. If you got it, you got it… if not, don’t worry about it lol ![]()
That was your first mistake assuming these people are adults and are able to adapt.
I mean, if it wasn’t an attempt to shut down people complaining about a thing you don’t like, while you accept the thing you don’t like, what was it?
I would assume that part of being an adult is being able to answer questions of people who engage with comments one makes online in a reasonable manner.
There’s an interesting quote by George Bernard Shaw that goes, "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
In this case, that might mean creating a WoW rival, which might be seen as a pretty unreasonable task.

Brother we are talking about video games, it isn’t that deep.
