So is this the end of Method?

Now that they were found to have protected a creeper and abuser who solicited pictures from underage girls will this be the end of method?

Preach has abandoned them, WoWhead wont renew their deal, everyone is cancelling them, their lying response on twitter where they pretend they had no idea while there’s evidence people have reported this ages ago yet they kept the creeper on their roster seems like it isnt something they can come back from.

who knows, who cares

If so, I guess they earned it. Those players won’t have a hard time finding somewhere else to play, let’s put it that way… but they might miss the endorsement deals.

Method is the main name when people talk about competitive wow and world first, of course people care

i’m not into drama, I don’t use twitter but if all of that is true I won’t watch them anymore

I mean, it’s a guild in a game I have played for 15 years. They have had ZERO affect on me thus far, so the non-existence or their total flourish won’t make a difference to me personally.

If the leadership is found to be culpable, then they should be disbanded and the people left that were NOT involved should re-brand and carry on without the name. “Method” is now tainted no matter what.

define “people” here because NPCs are the ones who care about pointless internet drama that doesn’t affect them in any way

Is there any actual evidence they were protecting a creeper and abuser or is this another witch hunt? I have not been keeping up with this story.

Calls other NPCs for caring
Literally is the definition of selfish bigot who doesnt care about anything unless personally affected

Yeah you are not a person I want to be near /ignore

i doubt there’s anything worth keeping up with. if there’s a creeper involved, the police should already have been informed. there’s nothing any of us can do about it at this point especially considering the apparent attention this issue has.

Topic has already been discussed and even managed to be locked. Identical thread title minus two letters too lol.

They are sure not going to be in another World First with that level of backlash, the Race to World First will be changed forever.

They received evidence about it years ago and told them to go to the police instead of kicking him then and there, then he got banned from twitch and still they didnt kick him out, he is even found at stream accidentally talking about the police investigation and everyone in method starts screaming MUTE HIM

I mean the original founder of Method-Scott McMillan seemed like a nice person who wanted to change his career from boring financial analyst to something he loved. Depending on how much he knew about this stuff I never had a dislike of him so my hope is they clean up their employees a bit or overhaul something.

Like any other person, he deserves his day in court. There is an investigation going on… so his name is dragged through the mud because of an accusation. Our current society brands anyone even accused rather than waiting to see what the investigation turns up. Another good video. https://livestreamfails.com/post/85771

edit I’m sure Josh is not allowed to discuss any of the ongoing investigation on air which brought about the hushing on the other video.

If it all comes out as poorly as it would appear on the surface.

Clean house and rebrand as Process.

Anyone who can judge characters based on their behavior wouldnt be surprised a person like that did something as vile and disgusting as that, if someone accused Preach out of nowhere yes, I would wait for proof, Josh no, he is clearly a disgusting human being.

People who are disgusting with their behavior online are very likely to do such things irl because online is merely expressing their terrible views and finding an audience, even though their fans like to pretend it is just memes or a fake persona

Yeah I am sure the entire method team panicked because of that : )
