i mean a failure of your country doesn’t reflect on the rest of the world though right.
You understand that, in other countries time off is basically a warning to your employer that you won’t be there… not something you have to apply for.
Now of course they can take it back if the date changes, but whose to say plenty of people didn’t put their time off in, the US isnt the only country playing this game.

the point is just because it was up for 10 minutes at 6pm in 1 timezone doesn’t mean all the people who it got spread to didn’t find out till hours later that it was taken down and hadn’t infact put time off in.
it’s not even a big deal if people have they can generally change it, the whole point is it’s obtuse to think it’s not possible that it didn’t happen
I never said that it didn’t happen. My point is that if you submitted time off, getting it changes within a day or do by telling your boss “Hey I put in the wrong date, I’ll resubmit it when I have the right one.” in most jobs would not be a problem.

so once you stated it was impossible people had put in leave and got time off based off this.
I made my point as to why it would be possible.
When you finally condeded that it would be possible, we found common ground and realised there was no need for you to have replied to me in the first place because you realise that it is possible.
