I dont think we’re getting the xp buff 4 weeks before prepatch and i dont think they will acitvate XP buff until after the realm consolidations.
Id move that xp buff date to mid August. Everything else looks accurate.

That’s probably a planned date but they don’t want it set in stone for the public. I was already banking on September so it didn’t surprise me at all.
I don’t know raid testing literally just started today we don’t know what they’re gon to do with PVP at all yet I don’t think We’re even close to prepatch I think we’re looking at least another 4 weeks of just rod testing.
Blizzard gave up on “When it’s ready” a long time ago. It’s coming, and they’ll fix it in post.

Its quite real, leaks were that Dragonflight would be released before end of 2022, blizzard confirmed a December 2022 release for it.
That is true however We’ve also have seen some improvements I say the word sum dragonflight actually does Look good.
And they did Is that a 2 week prepatch was too short So I’m hoping If that are prepatch starts on August 9th with a otc Release aka I hope we get a 6 week prepatch.
We won’t. 4 weeks with XP buff is enough for fresh servers. Additionally, they said the XP buff will be 6-8 weeks, and start ‘a few weeks’ before Pre-Patch, meaning that the Pre-patch will be 2-4 weeks, probably 4.
I mean as you said though that obviously could change too Because they did say no more than a 6 week’s pre patch and they said 6 to 8 weeks for the buff So I still think we can see a 6 week pre patch on top of that they want to give people that are on the fresh start realms time.

I can’t fault your logic in anything other than that I think the XP buff will hit either with realm consolidations on the 9th, or a week later on the 16th, giving us 6-7 weeks of the buff. But either way, yeah you seem to have been pretty spot on.

I don’t think they need to wait, as anyone who cares about their characters should have already moved them by then, but a week later makes sense if they think that’s relevant.

The buff is coming on a Monday? lol weird.
Even if people submitted time off, no chance it would have been approved in that short of a time so they can always change the requested time. I don’t know what type of jobs you have had, but mine have never got approved that fast.
Blizzard does a lot of things wrong but “Thousands of people have not got the wrong time off because of you guys putting a page up for 10 min.” is a new one for me.

well you see for the OCE part of the world…monday would actually be a patch tuesday. So I am all for it being in Japan.
US’ patch tuesday is more a patch wednesday for this side of the date line lol. server shutdown is basically at a time going to bed is the wiser course of action for many lol.
