So I just did my first Mythic+ and Understand why Raider.IO is a thing

Yup. He ended up trying to kite the 1st boss in Freehold without using his jumps. Was a pain.

People doing 5k dps is something I just can’t figure out at this point in the expansion. My rogue can auto attack around 10-12k without hitting a single ability lmao.

Even at the start of BFA 10k was like the baseline ST dps for low keys. And gear has gone absolute mega hyper power creep since then.

Isn’t +2s the place people are supposed to be able to start learning? Why are you giving folks crap for that?

Are you serious? The place to learn these things is in normal(while you level) or heroic…It literally introduces you to the dungeon and what the bosses do. Don’t go into a key with the expectation to learn… That is not what they’re for.

What’s your proposal for them learning how to deal with affixes in heroic? Just curious …

0s are the place where people learn. A +2 is literally just fortifed/bolstering + a timer.

Affixes can be explained if someone has never done a mythic+ if they repeatedly don’t get it, then its a issue.

The bosses and Dungeons mechanics you should know by that point however witch is what i think Therinity was talking about.

People play better than what OP said in heroics… What did they just get their accounts off Ebay and sign up for M+?

If you want a progression run burn your own keys, I shouldn’t be forced to drag someone through content kicking and screaming.

Guy begged me to tank his wcm 11 said everyone does 55k+ dps…end of run he does 56k not too terrible the other two dps knock out a massive 30k dps at 470 I level…and I outhealed the priest by just a modest 29 million healing.

I’m sure it didn’t kill you to help someone out.

On a low key you have more than enough time, if it’s a high key and they know nothing then by all means let em go.

Because they are supposed to learn in regular mythics…where there is no timer.

Do I? Who’s deciding how much time I have and what my goals are? Explain to me why it shouldn’t be me.

Yep, raiderio or bust!

Seriously, is this that difficult for people to grok?

It also probably needs proper usage, like Recount. The people that were/are against meters and logs are ones that don’t know how to read them properly, or what to do with all the data provided. I don’t use IO, so I’m not at all clear about how a score is calculated. But I bet there’s more to it than “did you beat all the timers”.

If I bought my way to a high score, would there be details on IO that show I’m not actually good, just that I have too much gold? Like if it does something like that, shows the score and little details that will clue you into if they bought or played their way there, that’s fantastic.

Basically higher keys give more points towards your total, completing a key in time gives more points and you only get one score for each dungeon.

It just shows a record of what you’ve done and whether you timed it. You can also display your highest character’s score.

Taking a 440 who knows mechanics > Taking a 470 who doesn’t know mechanics

People asking Blizzard to delete IO when really they should be asking Blizzard to delete gold token. Let people who RMT their way into carries get banned.
