So i cant get Remnants of valor cause i turned in the 1?

So everyone saying you get 40 Valor for turning in but if you got the 1 from yesterday you just lost out on 40?

Seal of the Dawn Progression Clarifications

We also want to provide some clarity on the upgrades for the Seal of the Dawn Trinket line and alleviate some of the concerns we’re hearing when it comes to grinding and alts. So below is an explanation of the system.

• Killing bosses inside of Naxxramas will drop Remnants of Valor, which can be looted by every player in the raid and are used to upgrade the trinket.
• It takes more Remnants of Valor to upgrade the trinket each rank.
  • E.g. it takes more to go from rank 9 to 10 than from rank 4 to 5.
• Bosses killed on higher difficulties provide more Remnants of Valor.
• There is a quest outside of Naxxramas that can be done repeatedly with no limit on it to gain Remnants of Valor.
  • This quest will will provide a small number of Remnants of Valor but will increase the amount it gives every few weeks, allowing players to catch up faster if they miss weeks or start late.
• The Trinket Upgrades are gated, and you cannot progress past a certain rank of the trinket until a certain week has passed.
  • E.g. you can farm 1,000 Remnants of Valor, but you can only spend 450 (example number) of them and upgrade your trinket from Rank 1 to Rank 2 and cannot upgrade the Trinket again until Week 2 (example week, final cadence is TBD) of Naxxramas has passed.
  • This cap on the Trinket is global and not personalized for that character. So if you are an alt or player that comes into Naxxramas near the end of the phase – if the global Trinket Rank cap is Rank 9 - you can work on the repeatable quest (with its increased rate of Remnants at that point in time) and go all the way from Rank 1 to Rank 9 in a single week.
• Remnants of Valor are Bind on Account and can be traded to your alt characters.
  • If you find yourself with more Remnants of Valor than you need on your main and have already capped your trinket for that week, you can send them to your alts.

Nope - you’ll be able to earn more and as much as you want once Naxx is out. The amount you can spend is capped which increases each week. You’ll never fall behind.

P.S. the Seal once we can get it is also no longer a trinket but an item you just use for a buff that you keep in your bags.

You know they changed some of that, right? That blue post was from the 22nd. That repeatable quest is gone and now a weekly that gives 40 remnants atm, BUT like the OP said if you have only done the turn-in to unlock shoulders that offers only “1” Remnant of Valor.
After that patch today you can’t get or turn in another Heart this week to claim either 20 or now 40 Remnants. So people just unlocking shoulders today get 40, while the OP, myself, and others got bleeping 1. While maybe we can catch up at some point… getting screwed out of 39 Remnants is just pure you know what.

Yup. It’s the anti-incursion. There they screwed over everyone that completed late. Apparently they learned from that mistake. If you’re going to screw someone over, make it the early achievers crowd.

Yes they changed some of it but players will start earning more than they can spend so it literally will not matter by the time the raid comes out.

You will get enough to get the Rank 1 seal and cap it in the first week of Naxx coming out.

And even then, the vast majority of players only need low ranks because it will be a long time before they empower any Naxx wings - so the Seal is soft capped.

They adjusted some numbers, NOT the overall acquisition.

They already announced once naxx opens up next week, the quest will be repeatable. You’re not screwed out of anything.

I did the quest patch day and only got 1. I made a ticket and the GM said there’s no workaround and were SOL… GG
