Why? Because locks and pallys shouldn’t have access to 100% speed increase?
It’s been clearly stated that the OP was thinking that access to free pally and lock mounts was still months away and, in that case, it’s more efficient to go ahead and put down the gold for the 100% mount now.

certain races can’t use some mounts. humans / elves can’t use mechanostriders and taurens are restricted from raptors and skeletal steeds
Shoulda waited lol. 4 locks in my guild have 1k+ but they also have ALL their mats in the bank for the mount so they will get their mount when this releases. Oh and also still keep their 1k+.
Oh yes, I remember now… but you have to admit, a cow would look damn silly on a raptor LOL.
All I know is my gnome rogue wanted a ram and farmed cloth till her eyes bled to get it 
Tell them to hang on to their mats because they can be reused to help other locks
No refund, imo. Part of the reason people play Warlock or Paladin is that the mount is questable. You knew it would eventually happen and DM would be released, but you spent money anyway. I don’t feel sorry for you at all.

Love how triggered everyone is in this thread, referring people to see “the schedule” which is nothing more than the content they intend to release at some point - not WHEN on a calendar basis they intended to release it.
That’s the content plan and outline, not a calendar schedule - you bought the mount not knowing the date and now you found out said content (the part relevant to your mount) is coming out soon… and you’re demanding a refund? I can understand why you’re upset, but no sis - you made your purchase not knowing the dates, and you don’t get to demand a refund now that you do.

Honestly it doesn’t save that much money. Maybe 300 - 400g, by the time you have epic mount money that’s really not too much.
No you don’t. The DM mount still costs a good amount, it costs mana (both meaning you can’t use it at 0 mana, and it cuts into your 5 second mana regen rule), is on the GCD, and was always going to take some indeterminate amount of time to be released.

Nah you’re not getting a refund.
Learn to share. Many of the items required for the DM ritual can be shared with other locks.
The first time around I led about a dozen locks through Dire Maul to get their mounts using my items. You still need to spend about 75% of the total money on other items leading up to the quest ones.
Sure, the vendor items can. Someone still needs to pay for them tho and everyone must buy:
Material Collections
- 35 x Black Dragonscales
- 10 x Elixirs of Shadow Power
- 6 x Large Brilliant Shards
- 25 x Dark Iron Ore
- 3 x Arcanite Bar
All of the above can be gotten from other players as well. I traded, bargained, auctioned, begged and guildmates were happy to supply many of the mats/items.
And it’s still more fun than just buying a mount LOL.
OP crying for a refund when he just rushed the content and got his mount way too fast… lel
