The ring favors Mastery seekers, but someone with 619 crafted Crist/Haste rings that have 2 gems and are enchanted, this joke of a 642 ring is a huge negative to those stats.
For brew the best gems are the three damage procs, and itâs a huge dps increase over a 626 ring with stats and two sockets.
Did you sim that or are you just assuming?
3 gems. All-stats, mastery, and highest secondary. The tooltip on it is incorrect when combined with mastery gem so thereâs no way to tell what itâs supposed to be providing, but itâs at least 2600.
The ring is about a 15k DPS increase over a perfectly statted 636 crafted ring, so pretty good.
Absolutely incorrect
You donât need to sim anything, just look at the numbers. Crit/Haste loses out.
Mastery is not zero value even if it isnât your favorite stat. Yes you need to sim it.
Itâs probably not going to be a huge increase, but it is not automatically worse.
When you lose 20% of your haste, no you donât.
20% haste is like 14k stats. Youâre not losing 20% haste lmao
going from 25% to 20% is a 20% loss from the original 25%
You have no idea what you are talking about.
The 4 stat gem 650 crit 650 haste
The highest stat Gem 2500 of crit or haste.
3800
Then you also get 650 vers, 650 mastery
and 1800 mastery
So 3150 Crit, 650 haste, 650 Vers and 2450 Mastery
Thatâs assuming that just the stats are best for you and not a proc.
I would go check a discord or forum for your class so you donât go on a public forum and state nonsense as facts and embarrass yourself.
Sure, it does better for mastery users, but even for my warlock where mastery is my 3rd best stat, itâs simming as an upgrade at 639 for both ST and AoE.
IDK how to get the gems and I stopped caring on day 2 of the patch.
From WoWhead it is BiS for Furry and Arms
You can buy 3 from a vendor and you kill bosses in caves for the others. Itâs pretty quick if one of the bosses doesnât bug out.
The bug being that hunters are insufferably stupid and canât turn pet taunts off before it charges out of the cave and resets/despawns.
Yup, that guide is a combination of a character with full myth track gear and a full item level ring. Problem is if you are not swimming in haste, it is a huge hit.
Huge hit =/ worse.
They arenât even using all of the stat gems. The ring is just better.
All the more reason to sim it, bigger stat shift if you are below max ilvl.
Unless the rotation for Arms completely breaks down at 11k haste, that is still not ruining your stats.
And did you sim it for your character using the correct gems?
Edit: Actually I just used raidbots to run a sim based on your current gear/spec on your profile.
On a dungeon slice sim, the ring sims at about a 2% upgrade for you while using the recommend gems and only at 639.
On a patchwerk sim but the same parameters otherwise, it also seems to be a 2% upgrade.
