So how about removing pathfinder from AT LEAST WoD and Legion

Please god remove the reputation at minimum. If i did all the quests and explored my character should be able to fly.

They changed the flying levels and got rid of the 280% flying so I’m hoping they get rid of pathfinder for WoD and Legion at the very least and make it unlock when you buy the 310% buff or w/e

However, at the point of the squish maybe it is time to remove the oldest ones

THIS!!! Everyone take notes. I have all PF unlocked and i do NOT think new comers to the game need to take MONTHS of their time to unlock flying in one area. More so when the game is in a very unstable customer unfriendly state at the moment.

Well I’ve got a few things to contribute to this;
Firstly it took me a week to get it with the biggest time being spent doing Suramar.
It will take even less time during this reputation boost.

Starting on WoD PF after I get this character levelled.

So I don’t think it’s hard by any means to get, however I don’t see any harm in them removing PF as a requirement for flying when Shadowlands comes out.

Right now we’re bored so nothing better to do, but for a new player in SL there’s no point in restricting old content in that way in my opinion.

i like pathfinder, but i hate the rep requirements and it should unlock for old content at the same time that expansion’s raids go legacy

I like pathfinder in current expansions, and I really don’t mind going back and working through the ones I missed to earn flight.

I’m almost done with Legion flight, and I have enjoyed doing the quests, the world quests, and learning all the stories and systems. It hasn’t required much effort or time, all things considered. I have chipped away at it one group at a time, one faction at a time, and one storyline at a time. It’s been fun, actually. I got my class mount (druid form), my artifact fishing pole, and some great mog gear along the way. I also got to see the storylines I missed, which made the new expansion make more sense in several ways. That Wardens rep is a pain the tush–I honestly think I’ll reach exalted with Argussian Reach (to unlock Void Elves) before I get revered with the Wardens–but other than that, it’s been a great experience to go back and earn the rewards I missed.

I would not object to removing pathfinder from the expansion-before-last, but I don’t hate pathfinder, and I would NEVER have gone back to Legion (and WoD is next on my list) to experience the content I missed without it. So I disagree with OP, but if they do remove old pathfinder requirements, I wouldn’t be upset about it.

They should remove it from BFA once shadowlands launches.

Imagine being a new/returning player and buying flying once you hit the level you can and finding out that you wasted your gold because you can’t actually fly in the zone you are forced to level in.

What they should do is have Path Finder for the current expansion.
Do PF in current expansion, it unlocks flying for each expansion up
to that point.

I have both (only time I almost quit WOW was completing Legions Pathfinder) but I am 100% in favor of this. I no longer purchase expansions due to Pathfinder…

Remove rep grinds from pathfinder.

There, now everyone has to spend some time on the ground, but only enough such that they’ve done all the ground content at least once. Then let them skip all the unnecessary crap to completing their quests and thus leaving all the mobs for me to carve through without fear of someone’s mob train trampling over me.

just remove the rep requirement from them ,altough with the 100% bonus rep now Legion pathfinder and BFA should be a nonissue

I got to revered by just doing the zone quests.

Getting flying on all your alts is optional content. Whether or not you pursue the meta achievement is entirely up to you - flying isn’t used in PvP nor raiding.

Don’t want to do the reps for Warlords nor Legion, don’t do it.

You do know there are quite a lot of people that have already done all the Pathfinders when they were current that really don’t care if they remove it from older content or make the newest one more stream lined and open previous PathFinders.
