So horde , did you get what you wanted?

For the first 2 months that AV was open, alliance won most matches, usually in <10m. It was impressive for alliance but pathetic for horde as they didn’t even want to fight most of the time. They acted like whipped peons and accepted defeats, exactly as alliance does now. Being anti meta as always (metas=cancer); I was against this. I tried to tell the horde to stop bending over, stop letting alliance stroll into our base unopposed for free wins, and FIGHT. The irony is that what I used to say to our own faction, I’d later be saying to the alliance.

Now we fight, and it’s the alliance that accept defeats. We went from being the defeatist side, to having absolute victory over the BG. So yes, you could say I got what I wanted. I did not want the awful queue, but that’s not our fault. The alliance threw in the towel and abandoned AV. We can’t make them come back, and are not going to let alliance have free wins to help their win rate.

The only imbalance is the number of those who are willing to fight in the BG. Most good alliance PVPers left for the shorter matches and higher HPH of the other 2 BGs. Leaving… you.

before i stopped coming here…

i saw that there was “totally still a way” to premade.

So what gives?

obviously their answer is yes. And now they get wargames, which is one step short of merc mode. They got their cake, they ate it, and afterwards someone delivered a dozen boxes with bows on top.

You know what was in it? More cake of course.

So true man. I hate AV, it’s an absolute disease, but I’d rather play and lose constantly than have to wait three hours for a single game.

Actually they accept more rep. Most of em probably didnt even realize they lost in the process.

OK so AV should be fixed to be more balanced, I’m not going to argue there but I will answer your question.

I’m 1000% happy with the change because it allowed WSG and AB to be played for honor instead. It allowed me to play with guildies and other realm PVPers in premades and actually have fun again.

I hated the AV meta in every way possible as I went from very fun world PVP with friends to playing with strangers only. I was forced to play AV solo for honor. In addition, I was literally competing with bots that would stay online 24/7. It was terrible.

Its hilarious that Alliance players are complaining about losing AV. Lol remember when alliance won AV 90% of the time a few years ago in retail? Ever since vanilla in retail WoW, alliance has had a major advantages in AV. The irony here is epic.

Would much rather play 3 winning games a day then 30 getting rolled each time.

Just remember, every single horde player in every AV game that you see waited 3+ hours in one game session to play that match. I don’t know if I’m more sad or impressed by that.

No, it’s two at most. Often times it’s an hour and a half. Your attempt at gloating should at least be based in fact.

It’s two hours if you don’t queue and play other BGs, which I assume most pvpers are doing while they wait to get in AV, so I’d say my initial estimate wasn’t too far off actually.

What might those be, I played Vanilla av a lot and the zerg drek strat was so easilly shut down its unreal. But the horde much like thee alliance of today just wanted the very awful poorly made BG to be over.

Why does it take one factions will being broken to make this map not suck is the real question. Then again Que times in Vanilla were way frigging faster for both factions

I’m fine with it because I’m already exalted and couldn’t care less

Yes. AV meta allowed the afk and bots to be contenders.

They won 90% THIS year before their best players abandoned the BG.

That whole “the alliance premades reported meeeee!” is a lie that get perpetuated every time this subject comes up. I played in premades for weeks up to rank 8, and no one other than afker’s were reported in the huindreds of games I played, with thousands of different players.

Even if this were true, the person getting kicked from the BG could simply get an instant pop queue after 15 minutes… not really an inconvenience.

There is literally nothing stopping people in AV TODAY, or WSG, or AB to stop people from mass reporting a player yet it NEVER HAPPENS unless they are afk botting.

Enjoy your 4 hours queues, you DESERVE THEM for being a bunch of crybabies despite every advantage being coded into the the game for you.

no changes… (unless the alliance start winning)

They won because it was 40 v 40 and they ran by eachother, i was horde during this time.

Horde and Alliance didnt even fight at the start of AV, there is literally memes of it on youtube, go check it out, it shows 40 vs 40 and them running by eachother. Thats literally how the fight went, was just a pve race.

Here let this sink in before you keep spewing that its not the “map” This is actual data.

Assuming all things equal, Alliance get IBGY in a fight of 40 vs 40, both sides die, both sides get a 30 sec rez time for maths sake.
Alliance cap IBGY, here is how the next 5 minutes will look like.
Before i do this a couple of facts.

Horde run time from Cave to IBGY is 20 seconds.
Horde Rez at cave 20 at a time.
Alliance run time from SHGY to IBGY is 50 Seconds.
Alliance rez 10 at a time at SHGY.

Both sides are wiped out, 30 sec rez time. Alliance soft cap IBGY. Lets begin!

30 seconds into the battle 20 horde rez at their cave.
30 seconds into the battle 10 Alliance rez at SHGY.
50 Seconds into the battle 20 Horde make it to IBGY.
1:00 into the battle the next 20 horde rez at their cave.
1:00 into the battle the next 10 Alliance rez at SHGY.
1:20 into the battle the 2nd wave of 20 horde show up to IBGY.
1:20 into the battle the 1st wave of Alliance show up at IBGY.

The current battle at IBGY is 40 horde VS 10 Alliance.

1:30 into the fight the 3rd 10 Alliance rez at SHGY.
1:30 into the fight the 3rd 20 Horde rez at their cave.
1:50 into the fight the 2nd wave of 10 alliance get to IBGY.
1:50 into the fight the 3rd wave of 20 horde get to IBGY.

It is now 60 Horde vs 20 Alliance.

This is why we are losing right here. I could graph it out further but i think the point has been made.

Stop being so biased towards this “imaginary war” you got going on between factions, Alliance lose because of the map and nothing else.
