I really miss Archaeology. But I hated how they did it in Legion; I didn’t mind the quests, but, in all, I hated Professions in Legion!
This is just so pertinent.
That’s what happened to my guild as well. After Wrath it just died.
We weren’t great by any means, but we had fun. Full guild and 2 raid teams.
Plus we had 2 10 man teams as well.
We pvp’ed…a little but most of the guild preferred raiding.
IMO I don’t think so. By this time in BFA I had like 5 max level toons, 13 total, along with few new class toons, in SL barely 3 as I know what awaits them at max level and have since stopped leveling them.
I want to enjoy the other parts of the Covenant halls but can’t because we are blocked by massive anima grind. I dislike the travel system, bugs and RnG that waste our time.
i didnt have any alts because i had to rep grind. leveling in BFA was horrible too.
The biggest problem with Torghast as it is that it offers NOTHING but Soul Ash. Twisted Corridors gives toys and mounts. But that’s the only section worth its weight. Once you’ve done it; why ever bother touching it again?
Torghast could’ve been this amazing time where running it offers new rewards, significant pieces, and more. They always invent these interesting scenes but never dig their teeth deeper to make it more engaging. Torghast feels more like a testing ground for new abilities and less so a crawl for goods.
If they added cosmetics, rewards for armor or more to incentivize going through Torghast more often; I’d be doing it every day and push to get my alts there.
I had no idea how much I would mess “procs” on flasks/pots/whatever till it was gone.
Who was smittened by a female dwarf so voluptuous and cute…
That is not what i saw based on a web site.
Blizzard died off a long time ago back in Wrath days.
I’m only sticking around because WoW has turned into a social thing more than a game for me. Hanging and running with friends.
I mean ya, these are THE FORUMS. The 0.1% of the game’s actual population that spends time here is comprised about ~60% of people who are too idiotic to realize they’ve just gotten tired of the same game for 15 years and refuse to quit… but JUST edgy enough to spend all their time whining on the forums about how ‘THIS is actually the worst expansion ever’ each and every expansion.
The raids, dungeons etc are definitely the main content - which is the first time that’s been true since Warlords of Draenor…
I hate Torghast but since they never updated islands to allow max level players to que they could add a currency and/or random drops for the rare mogs and mounts from islands to Torghast
Usual “Current expansion sucks” complaining. Noted.
It’s the progressive way!
Shadowlands is a good expansion. Blizzard is literally showing higher growth than normal at this point in an expansion’s lifecycle, meaning people are subscribing, logging in and playing the game. All indicators that the expansion is good, because if it wasn’t, then people wouldn’t be playing.
But by all means, please, take your doomsaying elsewhere. It’s not needed here.
Archaeology is very rewarding and fun. Rental systems are not fun or rewarding.
I dont think this is true at all! Systemlands seems to be a colossal failure.
Not according to Blizzard.
Activision-Blizzard just released their latest quarterly statement 2 days ago and it’s World of Warcraft (both Shadowlands and Classic) that are gaining active users while other Blizzard franchises are floundering somewhat. Both Activision-Blizzard and Blizzard Entertainment are happy with the performance of Shadowlands.
But as I said to the OP, feel free to take your naysaying elsewhere. It’s not needed here.
