Well to be fair, no one in their right minds would have used the tactics the Alliance did that day. It was done so the writers could make the arrival of Jaina and the Allied races seem more epic. I mean do you honestly think that no one on the Alliance side would have stop and said “umm… What are we going to do if they use Blight?”.
The writing team just did the Alliance “dirty” that day…

Well, whatever was left of the Brotherhood became members of the Uncrowned since Legion.
Their expertise in bullying farmers was essential for defeating the Burning Legion.
I mean, they kinda (unintentionally) killed Tiffin Wrynn, and (intentionally) burned down Sentinel Hill and murdered multiple families there.
I think them being paid is off the table due to their actions.

Is the whole “Did NOTHING WRONG” title a meme or like part of a series? Because while the Stonemasons were indeed used as dupes and tools by Onyxia and didn’t start off by being villains, after they became the Defias they sure did get up to a lot of “wrong doing”.

If i were the Horde, id have paid Stormwinds debts and set up a hostile faction on their border. Sent food to Westfall and claimed it was delivered by the benevolent hand of thr warchief.
Id fight proxy wars until they were readu for invasion. But everyone always voted for thr chest thumper. And thats why the Horde ways loses.
