I been asking for Clerics and Necrolytes to get added in for years now.
Only two classes from original WC lore not added in to game. Clerics are a better more pure version of priests that use zero shadow abilities of any kind.

Clerics have been around for ages before paladins. Clerics are like the big bad older brother of paladins. Clerics are from Warcraft 1. Alliance got gimped with paladins in WoW. Shaman would be peeing their pants if they had to go up against a cleric.

look I love that blizzard is considering clerics as much as the next guy, but it’s by no means guaranteed 
No they are not. I have been asking for Clerics to come in for years now. They should come in and Necrolytes too. I have been asking for both on WoW forums since WoW forums were a thing.
Clerics are practically 100% guaranteed at this point. Devs arent actually working on Cataclysm…

Cataclysm Classic is just the way it was last time. Massive content droughts. The last patch is about 9 months long or something like that. So just wait 9 more months and then you will get a fix. You guys asked for Cata to replace Wrath. Now you got it. Quit complaining about the very thing that you asked for.
November 29 2011 to September 25 2012 was how long that patch was. So yea. Get ready to sit around and be bored in Cata for 10 months straight. Longest patch in WoW history. Literally nothing to do.
Cata classic is releasing at a pretty fast pace this go around, they’ve released the entire schedule, it’s like a year long in total

We already have people here asking for MoP classic next. Some are saying, not MoP. do WoD. So what. You asked for Classic to relive the old world. These versions of Classic do not do that. They are all different from the original, worse version than the originals were. You have 10 to 20x less people playing these Classic versions than you do those who played original version.
Cata Classic = retail WoW. Only difference is the talent point system. Thats it really. And you can get to level 85. All else is the exact same. So. Cata Classic = retail WoW.
