We’ve been asking for this for years, why the hell are you only partially listening? Frost DK’s cries have been answerd but not shamans? Why do you even let us still equip two-handed axes/maces if we can’t use them?
You forgot Monks got 2h back as well for Brew and Wind.

To answer the question, without arguing for or against: Frost DKs and all Monks were meant to be able to use 2H or DW from the start. Shamans, on the other hand, were redesigned in TBC to specifically DW when melee-specced to make the DPS more consistent and reduce 1 shots at the same time.
Would I love to see 2H Enhancement? Of course. But given how much we rely on elementally-enhanced auto attacks for damage, a 2H would set us back.
Now if they could give us a glyph to change our weapon aesthetic into a 2H I would be soooo down.

That’s where tuning comes in, to even out the DPS. But that’s obviously too much work for Blizzard, remember fun isn’t allowed.
They should’ve of known the s***storm that was going to happen if they allowed WW Monks and Frost DK’s the chance to reuse their 2-hand weapons but not shamans. A large section of the shaman community have been asking for this for years and years and have fallen on deaf ears.
