I’m pretty sure classic era servers are for the longhaul. Meaning people go there from multiple fresh run throughs until eventually there’s enough people for a community.
get some help, bro
I need help to deal with useless lowbies making useless posts
By private server players and those same players also desire fresh because once Naxx is done the game becomes stale.
There have been countless Vanilla private servers released between the time Vanilla ended to where Classic began.
If you want to play on stagnant servers be my guest but Vanilla is best when it’s fresh.
Most people quit TBC classic already due to the botting issue. This is about snuckering some of them back. It will be a fun month or two until the botting gets out of hand and everyone quits again.
Classic is a unique situation however, I personally want fresh classic vanilla simply because the servers were ruined by uninhibited botting, boosting, and toxic WB meta (which blizzard doubled down on with the backassward decision to cater to that toxicity with chronoboons). At any given moment, one of those gold buyers or vacuum mages could log in and completely redestroy the economy with their comically vast fortunes.
Vanilla needs to be completely cleared out of that left over garbage, and THAT is why I feel fresh is needed. It has absolutely nothing to do with Naxx. The added value is revisiting the events like the war effort and such, with less of the mix max sweatiness that moved from vanilla to TBC.
this. fresh vanilla classic will have a huge value add from so many of the sweaties being gone.
Because some of us aren’t divided, We are waiting. We aren’t going to play on the “Ghost Town” Servers. We want to meet more people, we want a fresh server and some of us would like some changes. We aren’t playing now, just waiting at the moment.
I definitely want fresh, but I do wonder at one point they stop dividing the population. There’s already a retail and TBC split, what’s going to happen when Classic fresh and WotLK releases? There’s no way that all these versions of the game can survive alongside each other
