I started to recently think about how if boosting was illegal how come they let it go for this long. Not being against ToS. But people like that one guy up on top who posted a comment under me said my gold will be reset, the same legal gold i aquired from this game that wasnt breaking any rules… Strip me dry ? They let me get this gold this long now they want to take it away? cmon maaaaaan
This is respectable and all when applied to high-minded ideals like free-speech, but it’s okay to neither support nor defend decisions in games if you don’t like them.
For my part, buying boosts seem like a natural evolution of game in which players are given agency, so I like them.
Boosting encourages gold buying which encourages bots. You are part of the problem.

If we’re talking about the economy, then botting is just the trunk of the elephant in the room. The rest of the elephant consists of:
(1) the speedrun/parse meta and massive consume use
(2) mages
(3) boosts for gold
(4) GDKP
(5) multi boxers
(6) auction house farmers making massive gold
(7) and an accepted culture of cheating
Not saying that boosting/stupid mage tricks are the root of all evil, but it’s part of the problem. You can try to lawyer it all you want, but you, me, and everyone else knows it

The issues are inseparably intertwined. Gold flows into the economy because of excessive botting, people buy gold. The gold flows into other areas of the game through those players via boosting, gdkp, rank slot buying, etc.
Prices on items rise naturally as supply remains the same, while demand rises. The prices rise even further because there is so much illegitimate gold in the system that normal gold generation rates no longer serve as a soft cap.
His boosting is not the root cause, but it is an indicator of a broken economy. He willingly participates in further breaking the economy by taking part in boosting.
Taking players gold, thats a no no. grinding in epl undead mobs getting cold that way still being called a booster thats a yes no yes. Boosting isnt against ToS. why? because blizzard knows there being no Active GM’s to monitor the game, all is up for grabs til we wipe clean your gold pile. Before boosting i literaly found Arcane eXplosion my main source i made over 19k gold NON boosting. imagine those who did NO boosting and stripped dry while entering TBC. ill promise one thing, those who love collecting gold are going to leave this game, i promise that i promise you!!!
