So far not impressed at all with Ramps difficulty at all

Last night did my first normal version of Ramps and cleared all the way up to Nazan & Vazruden before running out of time. Did heroic Watchkeeper Gargolmar and heroic Omar effortlessly.

We attempted the other heroics, all of which seem doable. Its hard to master it when you only have a few hours on a sunday to do a whole dungeon.

Im not impressed with the difficulty of Ramps. The normal bosses are all tank and spanks and with a buffed item level heroic nazan will be easy. Ill admit, heroic nazan seems brutal with BRD item level however thats a tuning problem and not difficulty.

Artificial difficulty is not actual difficulty. Its like playing halo 2 on legendary. Having enemies 2 shot you is not real difficulty. Its just developers scaling damage up. Cheap. Cheesy. I dont consider overtuned bosses to be difficult at all. And nazan, which is directly linked to item level is fake difficulty.

Moreso the entire instance is just overtuned, but its not hard. I expect in the next 2 weeks for my guild to have all the heroics on farm except Slave Pens (again because it has fake difficulty and overtuned scaling) and the ONLY somewhat tough fight in the instance (that being Rokmar the Crackler).

I am definitely enjoying Ramps though. Its a lot of fun and playing without a dps meter/warcraftlogs has re envigorated my passion for this game. I think Ramps has just enough difficulty to make it engaging but not too easy (like stocks) to put me on the verge of quitting dungeons.

Thanks for reading and good luck on loot this week!
