So, collecting things is a mental disorder now?

This is it. This is the stupidest post of the day.

Personally I couldn’t imagine having so many characters.

5 is about my limit before it starts stressing me. Small and simple.

how so? all 50 of your characters can be in the same guild. it does make it easier for professions and gearing. only thing you need is the startup (i think, havent done that since wrath). post your guild in guild finder, and search for said guild. yes its tedeious logging in and out, but cuts out the middleman.

The amount of toxic replies on this thread is quite astonishing to say the least.

I love Altoholic, but with three accounts, I actually keep a notebook by my desk with each of the characters names in it. It keeps track of the main profession characters, so I can send appropriate things to them, and also notes, like who needs bags or who has to turn in that grizzly trophy quest.

I wish Altoholic could sync all my accounts, but I still find it very useful for what it does.

I’ll say, apparently I want charters   :face_with_monocle:

I may have a number of toons myself, but, that said, collecting things at an obsessive level CAN indeed be unhealthy.

It’s called Hoarding. Sure, it’s not physical Hoarding, but Hoarding is an actual mental condition.

Now, like many things, there are polite ways and rude ways to say something.

I think the limit should go up 10 at least. 50 is still a lot for one account, just my opinion. But for those who like to keep leveling alts, 10 more slots couldn’t hurt.

I will say, owning 50 charter buses is a lot. You do need help if you have that many, its a bus addiction!

I actually had to look up what a charter actually is, apparently I collect legal documents as a hobby now? What a boring hobby and addiction… I should have just taken up golf!

Yes, and everyone drinking a beer or a wine once and a while is an alcoholic.

Collecting things is a hobby, but there is a point it moves beyond a Hobby and becomes an Obsession. I collect Dice. Yes, normal dice. The weirder the better. But, I’m not obsessed over it. It’s just something I do.

But, like anything, you can go overboard on even healthy things.

i been wondering this myself for a while.

I will say, why does people saying get help or addiction about you making alts even affect you? Like it’s such an easy thing to chuckle at and move on…

I have an old magazine on my kitchen counter. I’m not a hoarder.

I drink a beer after mowing the lawn, I’m not a alcoholic.

However, if you’re running out of space to stack magazines (or bag space to shove useless WoW items into), you might just have a problem. Same as if you need to down a whole 12 pack before you mow the lawn just to get out of bed.

Off-topic but I think your Goblin is really cute. Good mog.

I mean, I’ve started buying Transformers Generations, War for Cybertron figures because I think they’re the awesomest thing ever (god I wish growing up, my transformer figures at been this posable and cartoon accurate).

The difference is : I’m not running out of room in my house to store them and didn’t get a 2nd mortgage to do it.

Since the transmog collection was put in, there’s literally no reason to run out of bag space.
