gear just need to be cheaper to upgrade , a 2h weapon is 14k honor? thats toons of bgs (u dont always win) for just a weapon…u have 15 slots more to go

Problem is, with no PvP stat, if they make PvP gear too trivial to upgrade, it’ll become the de facto gear to start with in PvE as well.
Hence, they need to just make honor gear scale up to ilvl 200 in instanced PvP. It’s still a grind to upgrade for out-of-instance usage, but a freshly dinged 60 can step into PvP at a solid baseline.
its already the way to gear up , its faster to farm honor than anima or drops on Hcs/M0 so ppl go “the honor way” 
Geared this toon up to Ilvl 198 in roughly a week. Just do your covenant quests and upgrade the gear you get.
Wouldn’t mind more opportunities to earn gear upgrades for conquest gear. Even just getting a little higher would be nice. 203 would even be cool.
