hey, did you see? they said joyous journeys was gone for good… guess whats gotten added back?
Everyone I knew loved rdf.
This is the most stupid argument I’ve seen here. Blizzard added Mercenary Mode from WoD and there was barely a whisper of complaint. Then they added loot boxes from Cata and no one complained about that until it destroyed alchemy. But when we ask for the rdf from Original Wrath to be in Classic Wrath you claim we want retail. It’s ridiculous.
Typical Blizz response. Players want RDF to help smooth out leveling. So Blizz just nerfs leveling.
yep, but also, for all those that have been yelling that “they said it will never be added”… here ya go folks. here goes blizzard going back on another “never gonna” statement
Except it’s not as nothing about RDF creates a lobby game.
The people claiming that have no idea what an actual lobby game is. It’s no different than the people who whine about P2W in WoW but have no clue what it actually is.
How is RDF any different from the current LFG in terms of a lobby game? Because they might have to fly afk to an instance portal? Or more likely get summoned there.
I swear people put no thought into their anti-rdf posts.
Actually, RDF makes it less like a lobby game as players have the freedom to do other things while queued.
I want rdf so I can do dungeons to both have fun and earn the reward. What I dont like is spending hours looking for people to do things with instead of actually doing things. I want to spend my time playing with other people not spend my time looking for people to play with.
Lazy people are not meant to be rewarded. If you want to do dungeons then do it in a proper way classic intended it to do. The MMO way.
What you want is instant gratification. This isnt retail. Classic is meant to correct the mistakes they made in retail launches that ruined the mmo aspect of the game.
Classic is all about the journey of going to the dungeon / raid and is a core part of dungeon / raiding experience.
Retail is there for you if you are too lazy to do all these things.
The whole point of classic is to correct the mistakes and so people can have a choice if they want an authentic mmo experience (classic) or they want to go the easy route (retail).
It makes no sense if they make both games similar experience. This is one of the things wherein blizzard actually used their brain and not listen to crybabies about rdf lol
Ah, you’re another triggered person with no argument lol.
Wrong. The whole point of classuc is so they can launch new expacs without the mistakes they did from the previous launches. RDF is one of them.
If you want to experience the old expac, you can still do in retail. Nobody is actually doing it though because like ive said, it sucks. Thats why they have to redo it without their mistakes which lead to classic.
If you just want to experience old expac there is chromie time in retail where you can do all the dungeons and quests on a given expac with the benefit of holding your hands through rdf.
Classic isnt meant for babies and lazy people. There is retail for that.
By making 2 separate games, people can choose what they want. Its nonsensical to blend the 2 together by implementing the very tool that ruined the first launch
The server I play on has been packed since day one. Only now with the launch of Dragonflight do you see a bit of a dip. No one has cared or mentioned RDF in-game at all. It didn’t kill anything, didn’t even scare people away.
And yet they’re cramming retail garbage into classic…
Instead of legitimate wrath features that were extremely popular then and now.
SO from my time playing dragonflight. RDF didnt make me feel like it was not isolating.
You would que and 20-40 minutes later i would get a dungeon. Nothing said between ppl at all. Ppl would leave if they get thier one drop or leave without saying anything at the end.
Mythic 0 where you do a whole sign up thing…ppl did talk. I even had ppl trading gear they didnt need to others. That felt better.
Did you actually play this game when it was new? I never went to the raid in original wow. I always got summoned. And most of the time I didn’t go to the dungeon. I got summoned there too.
I get that some people prefer looking for people to play the game with over actually playing the game. I’m playing wow to play the game. If you’re too lazy to do dungeons because looking for a group is more fun for you go spend hours looking for a group. Let those of us who want to do dungeons have rdf.
I thought the whole point of classic was to replay the game as it was originally released. It was never about making changes to the game to fit some person’s idea of how the game should have been.
LOL! Because listing your self and clicking “accept” is soooooo hard. Then of course there’s clicking on the flight path - a skill that takes months and even years to master.
It cracks me up that anti RDFers think using LFG makes you some sort of hardcore player with awesome skills.
The truth is they just don’t know the difference between “hard work for rewards” and “tedium.”
They actually do WOD being 1-60 on wod is the fastest.
That’s not what they said. Not even close. In fact I think the exact words were “warts and all.”
Again this stupid argument. I’d like to play wrath with the wrath talent trees, the wrath spells and rotations, and the wrath rdf. You can’t get that in retail. That’s what we should be getting in wrath classic.
Is he really trying to claim spamming the LFG channel is earning anything? Where do these clowns come up with such nonsense. No, doing the dungeon is where you earn things.
In fact, I would say 5 randos shoved together makes for more challenging dungeon content than cherry picking the ideal setup with characters geared to the teeth.
maybe if there was no boost option people would be grouping up at lower levels instead of skipping it with a boost.
Questing is faster than dungeon grinding at lower levels by a long shot as well.
