So boosts are here, we'd like some of these other services

Character names :white_check_mark: (hate one of the names I chose and I’m subject to some abuse from previous server)

Account to account transfers :white_check_mark: (excluding boost limitation to 1 per WoW account)

Appearance changes :white_check_mark: (barbershop please?)

PvE to PvP transfers :white_check_mark: (need to rescue my PvE stuck characters as I no longer play there and it literally doesn’t matter since you can boost on a PvP server so why is this limitation still a thing?)

I’m on board with all except PvE to PvP, and only if the other three services are one-time, only refreshing on Wrath-classic launch.

[1] The pronoun is “I”, not “we”. You can’t say “we” unless you’re a queen.

[2] Nobody cares what you want. You aren’t designing this game.

No.

Once a carebear, always a carebear.

PvE players dont want to PvP. They think being ganked is some kind of assault on their person IRL.

Just boost one on a pvp realm and thumb your nose at them all!

That’s a steep hill we’re about to slip down.

Please. At least this was a TBC feature.

It was, my guess is they simply dont have the development time to get it implemented on classic. Before anyone replies I am aware it already exists but it would still take some time to implement it into classic tbc.

It would really just be nice if they would say if it would say yay or nay on this.

sure

absolutely not, not with the boost being a thing. This is just a way to load up on free alts on one acc

I rerolled and left my PvE toons behind  so your comment is irrelevant. I just wish I could bring them to my new server.

Man this slope sure is slippery! I hope I don’t keep sliding down it.

The slippery slope fallacy is a flawed argument.

That is why it’s called a fallacy.

It is invalid as an argument on it’s own.

They made Baristol invincible, that didn’t lead to faction leaders being invincible. They changed the patch version on launch, that didn’t suddenly translate to classic becoming retail.

Your point is moot. Name change was in TBC anyway so you’re already wrong about any slope.

I cannot see how this hurts anyone or the classic experience. Just like the high def toggle.

All this crap about “meaningful choices in character creation” died the minute boosting via bots and official boosts came into existence. I could have a level 60 with any race/class/facial/hair/skin choices I wanted ez pz. Making it less profitable for bots who steal accounts and sell their gold makes good sense to me ngl.

Any askers? Clearly you care about OP’s wants and needs considering you’re here discussing them.

So glad to hear you have nothing to add to the conversation with your delusional idea that pve players are all one stereotype. But I suppose that’s to be expected from people who have no personality.

Anyway.

PVE to PVP transfers aren’t happening until WotLK comes out or blizzard decides to remove the pvp faction restriction. (Which may happen sooner given boosts sudden inclusion…).

Account to account is a no. Boosts are limited, I agree that transfers from accounts will affect the game in a bad way.

Sometimes there really is a slippery slope.

Name one slippery slope you can prove to me with solid realistic evidence that one feature added to a game caused another, worse feature, to be added to the game.

There was maybe one slippery slope, ever, in the server transfer feature removing the faction restriction on PVP realms- but I honestly never saw the point in that anyway besides blind nostalgia.

And all PVP players are toxic losers with no life outside of ganking low levels blah blah blah. See I can be reductive and wrong too. It’s a stupid idea that literally millions of people are all one stereotype. I pvp constantly in BGs and on a PVP realm despite my main being on a PVE realm with my friends.

But I guess you’ve never see the appeal in playing on a different server with friends.

Tl;dr: Trolls being trolls.

You’re arguing just to argue. We disagree. Move on.

Was in the game during TBC around 2.3 or so.

Was in the game after the first month provided the second account had the same last name when registered and trusting that it was only to get people off family accounts where 3 family members played on the same account. Obviously it had exploitable drawbacks.
