Character names(hate one of the names I chose and I’m subject to some abuse from previous server)
Account to account transfers(excluding boost limitation to 1 per WoW account)
Appearance changes(barbershop please?)
PvE to PvP transfers(need to rescue my PvE stuck characters as I no longer play there and it literally doesn’t matter since you can boost on a PvP server so why is this limitation still a thing?)
It was, my guess is they simply dont have the development time to get it implemented on classic. Before anyone replies I am aware it already exists but it would still take some time to implement it into classic tbc.
It would really just be nice if they would say if it would say yay or nay on this.
They made Baristol invincible, that didn’t lead to faction leaders being invincible. They changed the patch version on launch, that didn’t suddenly translate to classic becoming retail.
Your point is moot. Name change was in TBC anyway so you’re already wrong about any slope.
I cannot see how this hurts anyone or the classic experience. Just like the high def toggle.
All this crap about “meaningful choices in character creation” died the minute boosting via bots and official boosts came into existence. I could have a level 60 with any race/class/facial/hair/skin choices I wanted ez pz. Making it less profitable for bots who steal accounts and sell their gold makes good sense to me ngl.
Any askers? Clearly you care about OP’s wants and needs considering you’re here discussing them.
So glad to hear you have nothing to add to the conversation with your delusional idea that pve players are all one stereotype. But I suppose that’s to be expected from people who have no personality.
Anyway.
PVE to PVP transfers aren’t happening until WotLK comes out or blizzard decides to remove the pvp faction restriction. (Which may happen sooner given boosts sudden inclusion…).
Account to account is a no. Boosts are limited, I agree that transfers from accounts will affect the game in a bad way.
Name one slippery slope you can prove to me with solid realistic evidence that one feature added to a game caused another, worse feature, to be added to the game.
There was maybe one slippery slope, ever, in the server transfer feature removing the faction restriction on PVP realms- but I honestly never saw the point in that anyway besides blind nostalgia.
And all PVP players are toxic losers with no life outside of ganking low levels blah blah blah. See I can be reductive and wrong too. It’s a stupid idea that literally millions of people are all one stereotype. I pvp constantly in BGs and on a PVP realm despite my main being on a PVE realm with my friends.
But I guess you’ve never see the appeal in playing on a different server with friends.
Was in the game after the first month provided the second account had the same last name when registered and trusting that it was only to get people off family accounts where 3 family members played on the same account. Obviously it had exploitable drawbacks.
