So Blizzard is done adding customization options?

Kul’Tiran and every other allied race. Vulpera and Lightforged too.

There was no deep lore to justify this, they just gave them to all Allied races across the board as a selling point for Shadowlands.

You are just too uptight over lore that is for the most part pretty stupid to begin with.

Alliance should have gotten the Nightborne, Horde should have gotten the void elves. We needed more Highborne, less high elves. Kill off the Silver Covenant as well just to seal the deal.

And they all died during the fourth war.

There is lore behind it. Mortals die, I don’t understand why this is a hard concept for you. Thats the only prerequisite to be a DK.

We have Highborne since Cata :woman_facepalming:t3: They just haven’t gotten proper options to represent them. And sorry to make you sad the Silver Covenant play a role in the prepatch

Blizzard should have made Void Elves from the remaining Silver Covenant to avoid this. The blonde hair elves belong to the Horde, and have been Horde longer than Alliance. Unfortunately, “no” is not a term that most people that want blonde elves on the blue side know the definition of. So Blizzard bent the knee to the people that throw the mother of all hissy fits on the forums, and that still isn’t enough. It’s really sad to watch.

But alas, it is what it is. The Elves will always be the favorite races and any other race will have to live in the shadow of the “pretty elves”.

And a Mechagnome Druid is just as easy to explain.

satisfying. just the right mix of sour and salty, with a snap.

Oh sadly. I hate ‘typical’ elves with a passion and the quasi-racial obsession they’ve fostered.

“BUT DEY WERE ALLIANCE FIIIIRST!”

How? They cut off their own natural limbs for metal ones, that doesn’t sound very druidic to me.

Why, because you can’t play your perfect ‘white’ elves?

Then why do you even bother to comment? If you hate that keep it to yourself and let people request the things they want to see. This is a fantasy game after all

i dont want blonde hair. i’ve been promoting pale versions of existing velf haircolors, plus black haircolor. our gray color would be a nice white silver. thats close enough.

They are robots and robots can transform.

Either they need to start leaning into the robot stuff, give us Mechagnome Druids and Inspector Gadget extendo arms, or just admit we are still fleshy gnomes and let us wear clothes.

So? Druidism is about respecting nature and using its power, not transforming. Transforming is something people who use druidism can do.

Noone is asking for that besides loosening up transmogs on the arms and legs.

Like I said, it’s a fantasy game, and you are just the type of angry nerd that is always worried about what you can’t do, rather than someone with imagination for the limitless possibilities.

I’d rather be the guy throwing out ideas, than the dude quoting random lore bits to disprove the idea, even though the lore is a wasteland of retcons and contradictions.

“It’s fantasy so I should be able to do whatever despite it contradicting the basic fundamentals of the game and you’re a neckbeard for opposing that.”

You play a rogue so I can understand. You haven’t had a consistent class fantasy for 15 years.

There are no basic fundamentals. They make it up as they go along.

The Emerald Dream is the afterlife for the Druids. Oops, nvrm Ardenweald is now, buy Shadowlands please.

Retcons are a healthy part of any franchise series.

This is an example of a good retcon.

The Emerald Dream getting retconned is no big deal to you, but a Mechagnome transformer is an affront to druidism?

No it isnt? If you die you just go to its sister realm. That’s hardly retconning the whole thing.

he has summoned the pinky.

Yes they are done, they will never again add a single more customization option.

It totally retcons it. It takes a lot more mental gymnastics to justify Ardenweald, than it does for Mechagnomes to build transformers with a nature-conduit-thingamajig-itsafantasygamenerd.
